I discount them because state campaign finance laws don't apply to Federal elections.

What he said is true. How can you not understand that this isn't a criminal trial? It is an attempt to damage Trump's campaign. It is the obvious weaponization of the justice system. One hopes the justice system will fix this problem at some point. It isn't doing it its image any good. It is also strengthening the Trump campaign. So it is stupid politics.

How can you not understand that this IS a criminal trial?
Give me one reason I should trust Donald Trump about….well….ANYTHING?

He’s cheated on all his wives.
He’s been barred from sitting on a board of a charity in New York because of financial irregularities
His Trump University was a fraud
He’s cheated vendor after vendor and then used his wealth to stall things in court until they were basically forced to settle
His constant lying while President

This is not the resume of a trustworthy man and yet his supporters want us to belive that everyone else involved in all his legal problems are the corrupt ones

 

It is a political trial masquerading as a criminal trial. The election commission and DOJ have already said there was no crime. You can say that they are lying to us if you like and I wouldn't argue the point. But there has been ZERO evidence of any crime in this prosecution. The only evidence will come from Michael Cohen, a convicted perjurer and virulent enemy of Trump. You can take his word for it if you like. I don't care who you trust. I don't like Trump either but I definitely oppose political prosecution. So should you. It is dangerous.

 

They never said any such thing. They didn’t prosecute which is not the same thing as saying there was no crime. And if you’ve been oaying attention the evidence is from more than Cohen AND they have tapes of Trump talking about it.

I don’t care who you trust but no man is above the law.
