So you have just rejected our Constitutional system of law. I could reason with you but at this point it just isn't worth it. You are advocating a "kangaroo court" rife with disorder and chaos. Most of the population DO NOT WANT WHAT YOU WANT.

I can pretty much guarantee that Mr. Bragg never gave a care about how Trump would be treated in "the polls". The fact that a criminal trial would help him shows how far the right has sunk.

    Damn right he did...lol.

That's what this whole trial is about: keeping Trump out of the White House.

I agree that the Justice Department is now a political weapon. The SCOTUS made it that.way, when they chose to hear the immunity plea.

For Trump to NOT go to trial for Jan 6th, prior to the election is a Slap-in-the-Face to the American Justice system. If it was a Democrat, you would be screaming from the rooftops!

Was E. Jean Carroll awarded million of Trump's dollars because of her looks? OBVIOUSLY he was convicted of a crime if she won a judgement!

Your post is exactly like gazing into a mirror and seeing everything is backwards.
"Adding insult to injury is not a wise decision for the left". In our lifetimes, no candidate has pitched himself as a lawbreaker. No candidate has pitched himself as a lawbreaker after being held accountable for breaking the law. It’s almost like he’s willing to say such things, because, for him, there’s no downside to saying them. Trump is like the rich man’s son who knows that Daddy will bail him out, no matter how much he fails.

    Which is what he is.

"Every time they pull the next con- more and more people say they are over the line". But it's not the left that's pulling a con. It's Trump and the right that backs him.
Not only did his actual dad come to the rescue throughout much of his profligate life, so have many other very obscenely rich men, who are these days ponying up millions in anonymous contributions, as well as the whole of the Republican Party and the rightwing media apparatus. They will bail him out no matter what. Why? Because they HAVE to and the more they do, the worse he gets so who is really making the bad decisions.

"To gag your accused so they can't argue what they see as wrongful is wrong in the first place, and not the purpose of the contempt of court provision". Your premise of the gag order is wrong. The purpose is to stop Trump from trying to intimidate the judge, officers of the court and the people of the jury and not only has he not stopped his tactics and been held in contempt, what, 11 times now. Anyone else, anyone, would have been put in a cell already.

    You have it all backwards.

    Yes
It hasn't been so I'm ok but you apparently think it has been because it isn't on your side
Yeah, Trump is the rabid dog. He's not your friend and doesn't give a hoot about you or anyone.
Exactly, and Trump obviously thinks he's above the law and you seem just fine with that.

No, it's about how Trump broke the law to get into the WH in the first place.

He didn't break the law, much less break the law to get to the White House.

Well, to be fair, civil cases have a lower standard of proof than criminal ones. I think we saw something similar with OJ in the sense that even though he was acquitted, he still lost the wrongful death lawsuit. Trump wasn't even tried for the crime in this case, but the OJ case illustrates the lower standard.

Well, that's what the trial will prove. One way or the other.

Trials only prove guilt. If that isn't possible, then the defendant is innocent.

Which doesn’t really say much. From beyond a reasonable doubt to 50.1%? Yeah that’s not actual justice or even a “conviction”. He’s liable but not convicted of anything(that’s not how civil trials work).

So you're OK with having a president who forces himself on women (she wasn't the only woman with such a complaint) and violates them sexually. Great. And that is just the beginning of his evils.

Or a President that's rich, 20 years later once he runs for President, she suddenly says she was "assaulted", no witness, no stain on dress, no corroboration but a lefty court and whalla. Whow knows the Da's wouldn't touch it but sure are happy to touch financial ledger entries lol.
