People do care about the other things you mentioned, cassandrabandra.
However, that doesn't diminish the urgency of concern for the threat to the liberty you take for granted.

Extreme violence against women and gays are systemic and widespread in Islam. The frequency of it exceeds any other religion or society that one can name.
Islam isn't just a religion, it's a complete way of life encompassing government, global expansion, societal norms, and everyday life in every way.

Minimizing it by deflecting to the crimes committed by persons of other religions is tantamount to being an apologist for Islam. It's a deflection that is not impressive to anyone who is informed as to the real nature of radical Islam and it's Pan-Islamic, Sharia Law agenda.

Yes, their are peaceful Muslims. They are not the problem, but are complicit by default, because they're afraid to speak out against it. They should be - Islam "don't play".

Any truly informed person knows how the Islamic way of life is based in the dominance on men and is violent by it's very words and everyday practice, world-wide.

 

Comparing the two creates a larger threat on common sense.
