I love Beck.. Did you know he is a MORMON ? Please remember to rip his religious thinking next time you attack. Fox can do what ever..I will still follow Beck.. Since he will be the NEW WHITE HOUSE SPOKES PERSON after the elections. Mormons like other Mormons..who really believe in conservative values. The chalk board deal will work great at press conferences since Liberals are un able to grasp COMMON SENSE as it is applies to every day workings of any house budget. He can draw lines that even the rocket scientist will be able to follow ..The Unions will wither and die..and the new energy secretary PALIN will have ribbon cutting parties every week as new refinery is brought t on line. The thing Liberals fear most.. They are wrong..and it shows.
That's like saying why are all liberal female heros lesbians just because someof the better known ones are. Any time you use the word all you are almost sure to be wrong.
Most mainstream conservatives (minus the loons) started abandoning the neurotic Beck, for months now...to wit: Now, how's that for hypocrisy?
Well, it would be a bummer to lose Beck off the lineup, but there are others that are great. Also, I bet Beck would stay on the radio or do something else interesting. With that said, Beck has become preachy, which I said on another thread that I don't go to him for spiritual advise since I am not mormon. So, I'm not suprised by his numbers going down, which where else are they going to go when they were so high. I would love to see the Judge take his spot, though.
I don't see what's even the point of arguing if Glenn Beck is right or not. If someone thinks Glenn Beck is right it's not because Beck argued well, it's because they already agree wih him or they're captured by his theatrics (that is, they dont truly care about politics). The same, of course, applies to the left. I don't know how most Americans consider their news networks, but from a European point-of-view I would rely on the likes of CNN and Fox solely as zeitgeists of the political atmosphere. There is seldom constructive discussion, or even argumentation, but simply people saying what they think and then they try to say it louder than the others, no academics involved. And yes, this is also true of "Liberal" CNN. Most major American news networks are like this, only of differing degrees. Its a formula of how to gain viewers that has established itself, and the more established it becomes, I imagine, the more it establishes its concept of news television in the minds of its viewers. Thus any channel abiding from this concept is viewed as odd (for lack of a better word) and is (although perhaps not by a fully conscious choice, so much as instinctbut this is really an area for marketing experts, not me) rendered commercially unviable; the corrollary of which is that the serious news networks are the ones that have no money to actuallly produce their own coverage. Ironically, the networks that do have the financial means needed to report worldwide news tend to cut back on this area, because they findor imagine that reporting real news instead of having the networks [God almighty Super] Profiles big-mouthing away is so much more expensive. The audience is accustomed to watching big mouths and its, of course, a lot cheaper having one guy talking and talking rather than having to spend money on sending a team of reporters to far-off places in the world that the majority of the domestic viewers often have no or little interest in. Also Ive interestingly enough noticed that when so called experts speak on mainstream (i. e. the most viewers, Im not referring to politics) American news channels they seem quite shallow, and you easily dismiss them; but if you happen to see them on a channel like, say, Al Jazeera, it often suddenly appears as if whole new inner workings of their minds appear: they actually know a lot. I dont know if this is because of the cutting, or if the expert in question is just afraid of being controversial on American TV. (Or if it was just my particular impressionif you sit among smart people you might come off as smart yourself.) What do Americans say about all this? Do you agree? Nevermind their political leanings, what do you think of your news networks reporting on world events? (Not the commenting on them, just the reporting.) Maybe Ive gone off on a tangent now. If this is better suited for a new/another thread, chastise me and I will post this in some other thread.
I don't know he's a good comedian. He makes me laugh all the time. Well, he and the rest of Fox. But then again, when they go into the all serious "let's trash talk every single Liberal, or they have to defend themselves" mode, I tend to just tell them to shut up.
Funny post. Every sentence full of insults, smears and derogatory adjectives. The only insulting exaggerations I can think of that you left out was "Nazi" and "racist". Thanks for the laugh.
I know and all those viewers he's lost have gone to Kieth Olberman and Dylan Radigan and Maddow!!! He has totally turned repubicans into democrats!!!
You need to go back to the other avatar... the flower child version just doesn't 'do it' for the libido
Prolly for the same reason all donkey heroes are tax evaders and Nazi sympathizers. See how two can play at that game, Copernicus? How fun.
Could be worse. They could be child rapists like all of your buddies here: http://www.covenantnews.com/newswire/archives/024695.html Keep standing up, I'll keep smacking you down. Yea, this is fun.
Right, Limbaugh is not long for this world. What, six months on the radio, tops? Now Chris Mathews, Rachel Maddow, and Joe, what was his name again, they're in for the long haul. I've never watched Beck since I don't have a television but I'm glad you do.
Puh-lease radio DJ is one step above rodeo clown. Where's Rush's TV show. . . oh yea, it's long dead and gone.
