Why did you add the Communist part? Is it that all Chinese are communist? That's stupid.

In Europe or USA everybody is neoliberal? No. Then that adjective there is absurd. Are you trying to criminalize an ideology, too?

Maybe the people who do that aren't communist, or maybe yes. You can't affirm that. The unique thing that you can affirm is that are Chinese.

 

Because they only have one political party, the Communist Party of China.

Everyone gets the Little Red Book and it's a part of their national philosophy, right?

I'm asking what the cause is and there seems to be an anti-masculine connection with Maoist Communism.

The cause may not be political, but it might be something cultural.

 

So how there is one party, everybody is of that Party?

Then in USA everybody is democrat or Republican, no? How you only have two parties...

That is nonsense. In USA there is many people that isn't neither Democrat or Republican. Really, are you so close-minded that you think that people will be of a party? For example, am I of some party? Then if I was Chinese you would refer to me as communist?

There can be many reasons, and we don't know, because personally I don't know so well the Chinese culture to discuss about that, and you don't, too. So we can't know the reason.

And also you can't put adjectives whatever you like.

 

As I repeatedly said, I think the cause is cultural not political.

Maoist Communism is in the shared political consciousness of the Chinese people. It is deeply rooted in the culture, the shared political history and the national identity. It's such a repressed place to live that people don't have freedom of speech or freedom to dissent. They don't have the ability to freely talk about a government alternative to the Communist Party system.

That's what this thread is exploring: the root causes. Maybe China is so oppressive that these women snap?

I also hardly see it as a China problem. Too often we get the impression that the frequency with which the media reports a news item is the frequency in which it happens. When it does happen, it pisses me off something fierce (as a man.) It's only the most evil, wicked, satan worshipping woman that understands that our world ends when we lose our precious and that we're better off dead at that point and cuts it off anyway. Any woman who does that should be immediately arrested and upon conviction strapped down to a table while her womanly parts are gouged out by a rusty gardening trowl.

That seems a bit extreme, but I understand your frustration. I'm wondering if there is something in the culture that represses or angers women in communist China that isn't present in other cultures. It could be something in the collective political or philosophical mindset.

 

I'm more settled on the media influence our society's perception on how prevalent anything is. Get enough sex abusers on cable news and people start to think there's a child sex-predator behind every corner and every Catholic priest must have at least some pederastic tendancies. Schools aren't full of horny female teachers shagging their male students. And most congress members know not to send pictures of their phallic assets all over the web, but Americans are under the impression that Congress is scandal ridden.

Per capita, I don't think China is any worse than any other nation. If repressed rage were the factor, you'd think that fundamentalist Muslim nations would have this problem more than anyone.

 

So it can't be some sort of penis envy, can it? Or could it be?
