That's ludicrous, is it racist to say obamas the first non-white president? I'm essentially calling his skin dark....

Oh, I'm glad you've deviated into honesty and are actually defending the lady's racist statement -- even when her own husband didn't and resigned over them.

    I love the Tea Party!

Oh nonsense. There's a difference between saying a candidate is nonwhite and emailing him about how his dark skin is a bad thing that he's using in some sort of improper mannner, suggesting not too implicitly that Carl Lewis is benefiting from some sort of "affirmative action" via skin color.

Indeed, the lady said that outright, claiming that his "dark skin" doesn't make him qualified -- as if anybody claimed it did.

It's not even close. As her husband admitted - even HE agreed his wife is a racist.

What racist statement? When did dark skinned become racist? Lowering the bar any further and we'll be down to speaking in two letter words for fear of being called out by the PC police. Such lunacy is a despicable new low even for the Marxist usurpers of the left.

ROFLMFAO - seriously? Now we can't even "say" that someone "has dark skin"? Has it gotten that bad?

First we had to call black folks "negroes", then that became the wrong thing to say and we had to call 'em "blacks", then they insisted that was a disrespectful terms, now we have to call them "African Americans" (even thought most of 'em prolly couldn't point out Africa on a map). Now, just alluding to the fact that their skin is dark is offensive, nay "racist"?

Perhaps you can come up with a set of rules for us so we won't inadvertantly do or say something "racist". Oh... that's right - I forgot, just because we're not libs that means that we're automatically "racist" and a member of the Tea Party, right? So it really doesn't matter what we say or do, we're going to be racists, right?

The racist statement that even her husband agreed was racist and over which he resigned.

Please, keep defending using skin color as a insult -- I hope the TEa Party runs on that.

dark skinned was not used as a general statement here it was used to further an argument with a racial reference therefore it was a racist statement.

Yep, I think it's pretty clear that Tea Partiers are imbued with racist stereotypes.

And even Mr. Delany agrees that his wife is a racist. So it's funny how you're defending her.

And this is supposed to be an argument.

    BWHHAHAHHAHAHA.

Even the lady's HUSBAND disagrees with you and he even resigned over the statement.

Keep defending it. I love how easy it is to flush out the racist impulses of Tea Partiers.

Big Deal....The main Republican (Tea Party) names are what matter.

Some of the smaller must make way for the larger.

Funny you cannot prove it especially with claims on ridiculous PC standards such as this one.

When did he agree that she was?

That was not anywhere in your links.

Talk to Mr. Delany. Even he found the statement racist and he even resigned over it.

It's hilarious how you don't see how calling a person "dark skinned" and saying that he is using his "dark skin" to get elected rather than any qualifications (because we all know that dark skinned people can't be qualified) isn't racist.

You have failed miserably to flush out any racists.

Yes the arguments presented are far more intelligent than your accusations.

He may have resigned but not because she is a racist.

    Ah the PC meme.

It better than having to make an argument. Just call it PC.

Dude, I'm not defending her. I hadn't even heard of her till today. I'm simply defending the general notion of common sense.

I ask again (and will surely be ignored AGAIN) what connection are you making with the Tea Party folks in terms of racism? You got anything other than something off the Huffy Girl Post that ties the Tea Party to racism?

Nope, not a thing. You sure do pay attention to this circulars that come down from HQ though don'tcha? Where you going for drinks tonight when you roll down Constitution Ave? Oh, that's right - they evacuated you guys didn't they? You're prolly already in a Starbucks in Georgetown or Silver Spring, MD by now. Aren't you off the clock yet? Why don't you tell your boss to move you somewhere other than a broom closet?

He never claimed the statement was racist he claimed he resigned to avoid a public spectacle involving his family

    Carl Lewis is dark skinned.

That's merely a statement of fact not racist.

She did not imply he is not qualified or that dark skinned people cannot be qualified she accurately and correctly pointed out that fame and skin color are not qualifications.

It is you avoiding the argument.

There is nothing racist in her statement and you have run in cowardice from explaining how it is racist.

What evidence do you have for your accusation that he is a racist?

    None makes you a liar.

And BTW all you people make such references to further arguments, you're living in fantasy land.

I suppose I don't as long as we let libs define it for us.

Black politicians talk about race all the time.

They tell each other to vote for the black guy.

Blacks notice in great detail who is black and who isn't.

What you are doing is enforcing the lib double standard on race that says blacks must be given special privileges that whites do not get.

But like I said the Republican has already resigned so this is all pretty much moot.

    Nope, Youre evading the question.

Why was Bill Clinton making excuses for Robert Byrd being in the KKK?

Whats a democrat doing in the KKK?

Isnt that far far more racist than some old hag talking about skin color?

Which one is more likely to burn a cross in an African Americans front yard?

Which one is more likely to hang a person for the color of their skin?

I think you should look up the definition of racism cause I think you know less about that than you know about the Tea Party....
