I thought it was rather depressing that he died so soon after leading his party to such a major victory.
He was a politician with morals and Canada will be worse without him. A rare breed and getting rarer.
Holy crap... I didn't realize he was dead. I followed his rise in recent years, but I lost track of things after the last election or so. He really would have made an excellent president here, but then again, he would never be elected here. He was far more liberal than the average American.
