    This is exactly so. They have cried wolf so often and in such a knee jerk fashion, the word racist has been drained of all it's meaning. I don't care how many times you lead out John Lewis or Al Sharpton to do their circus tricks. The bit doesn't work anymore. People see how the left will shamelessly say anything to get their way.

    Of course, it's a possibility. And, perhaps Paul Krugman will get the martian invasion he's hoping for. It's a possibility.

    I agree, when they go for the race card they're really grasping at straws.

    It makes our job easier if you define yourself as a racist.

    Can you find another instance where the Speaker of the House told the President of the United States that he could not exercise his Constitutional authority to call a joint meeting of the houses of Congress?

    Here's hoping that the President sees this for what it is and finally starts standing up to the Republicans and the rest of their ilk.

    Obama or any president does not have the constitutional authority to demand a joint session of congress.

    The separation of powers in the constitution leaves that decision to the Speaker of the House.

    Your job is to be defeated ideologically so that this drivel dies with your dogma.

    Check our Constitution:

    Section 3 - State of the Union, Convening Congress
    He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper;

    Again, can you show me a case of a Speaker of the House telling the President outright that he cannot exercise his Constitutional authority?

    Yup, that's what I mean,,I was like you. Calling somebody that meant something, now it means nothing and their language is even worse. When you have a Congressman talking about hanging people then it's so out of line it's being turned into a joke..
    It really makes them appear ignorant, they think upping the anti should have some effect..it dont!
