The Republicans don't have any idea on how to create jobs. Rick Perry is so dumb that he makes himself look bad every time he speaks. His grades while in college were barely enough to pass. He has the lead of all the Republican running for office, so what does that tell you about the bunch. They have no chance of beating Obama in 2012. Actually the smartest of all the Republicans running is Huntsman. Perry is just not cerebral enough.
If you want another Bush in office and if you liked the way George W Bush run the presidency? THEN! vote for Perry.
He will have a lot of minimum wage jobs, where a person is in poverty and can't even raise a family.

We need to give Obama a chance to prove that his administration will be successful. He has already stopped the bleeding of job loses. We were losing 750 thousand jobs every month when Bush left office. We are gaining now, but the president wants a lot more jobs and he will be successful, but it takes time.

We need the Tea Party people to get the lead off their butts and start working with the president to create jobs. Instead all they are thinking off is to make him look bad so that they can get their candidates into office in 2012.

Well, happy September! It has now been 9 months and still no jobs plan out of the House.

If I were a more cynical person, I'd say they were doing it on purpose.

The House of Representatives is doing exactly what you posted. They will throw the country under the bus before they give any leverage to Obama to get the country back in its track. Obama put out his idea's on how to create jobs in this country, but the House of Representatives which is controlled by the Republican, Tea Party will not give an inch to make Obama look good. It is actually scary what is happening in this country with radical right wingers like the Tea Party and what they want to do with this country. They want to send us back to the stone age and do away with Medicare, Social Security pensions and bust all Unions in this country. They don't want to tax the billionaires who actually can afford it better then the middle class. What they are doing is manipulating the system, getting tax breaks and investing in China or India for the cheap labor.
These people need to be voted out in 2012 or else we are headed down the road as a third world country. Voters that believe on the Tea Party better start reading about what these people stand for and what their main goal is.

I have to agree that politicians usually, if not always put getting elected or re-elected ahead of doing what is right, but Obama's ideas are just wrong and will not work. Government's place is to provide protection from infringement of individual rights, providing the freedom to strive for succeed in life - nothing more. Any attempt to provide more infringes upon someone's individual rights.

    ...and they sucked.

    True

    False

The only thing that will turn us into a third-world country is the insane deficit-spending that Leftists and Neocons are so addicted to, and which the Tea Party so vehemently opposes.

Without the "Stone Age" hyperbole, what do you think that "these people" stand for and that their main goal is?

Obama had no choice, this country was on free flight over a cliff when Obama come into office. We were losing 750 thousand jobs per month. It was either spend some tax money to try and save the country from a great depression, or get a big deficit, but save us from going over. I think most people would rather spend the money then go into another great depression. This country wouldn't be able to take another depression. They would be committing suicide or killing each other.

The top 25% which is an income threshold of $67,000 pay 83% of taxes.http://www.ntu.org/tax-basics/who-pays-income-taxes.html
    T=Top
    B=B
    by percentage

    T1 T5 T10 T25 T50 B50
    Percent of Income Taxes 33.7 54.1 65.8 83.6 96.4 3.6
    Percent of Income 16.5 31.0 42.1 64.7 86.1 13.9

So what is not "fair" about our tax system and what would make it fairer?

The last time we had a Republican President and a Republican Congress we had 52 months of full employment.

We are going on 48 months of horrible UNEMPLOYMENT since the Democrats took back control.

    Who has no idea?

Never is the right answer. I'm hearing that they haven't introduced a single job-creation bill to date AND they are banking on high unemployment to get them through the next election.

Obama had TWO YEARS WITH A DEMOCRAT CONTROLLED CONGRESS and got his plans passed and they failed.

What plan have the Republicans in Congress refused other than the Februrary budget proposal that not one Democrat voted for?

Like get the budget under control before we go bankrupt?

    More desperate hyperbole.

Post a cite to the Tea Party proposal to end taxes on billionaires.
    Like Obama's buddies at GE?

And Obama and the Dems are leading us to properity? ROFLMAO

I believe you need to stop listening to the Democrat propaganda and read for yourself what they stand for, you are clueless.

You mean after the Democrats took over both houses of Congress and announced his plans dead on arrival and the 52 months of full employment brought to us by the Republicans, the falling deficits down to $161 billion disappeared?

Yeah I remember when that happened.

You mean the economic train wreck everyone saw coming so they swept the Republicans out of congress but it was still too late to stop.

    http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/republicans-remind-obama-democrats-are-b

"Republican leaders are reminding President Obama that the House of Representatives has passed more than a dozen "pro-growth" measures to spur job creation, but with one exception, Senate Democrats have refused to consider any of those bills."

Promoting socialism trumps improving the economy or creating jobs. It's those who love to create a crisis they can then exploit. So, let's follow the socialist agenda and borrow more money and go shopping.

Yes, that great Republican Senator Kennedy for one and I believe Hillary Clinton chimed in with her support too. Not to mention a ton of Kurds who had been gassed.

Dasein, do you intend to go further than your silly non sequitor?
