Homosexuality should be illegal

I believe that homosexuality is something that goes against the bible teachings, and also is completely immoral and wrong.

So I am totally convinced that it should be banned and be considered a crime. Like it was years ago. It isn't normal that people can practice normally these immoral acts. The sodomy should be banned and considered a crime.

I am convinced that many people will support me in this crusade to ban this horrible act.

Homophobic preachers like Fred Phelps are not true Christians; and their so-called ministries make a mockery of religion. They are like the “ranters” (pious frauds) in John Bunyon’s The Pilgrim’s Progress. It would be ironic if Jesus actually turned out to be a homosexual. Certainly, Christ’s message of universal love cannot be true unless it embraces all mankind and not just a few self-righteous bigots.

 

I believe Kilgram is doing a parody of our fellow right wing extremists who seem to think everyone must live their life according to the bible.

I am serious. But not reflecting my opinion. My opinion would go with the No, should be legal with all rights including marriage and adoption.

But in this board I've seen many people that would defend this, although they don't say it openly, they would like that homosexuality be considered again a crime. They just are in the closet.

You are rather new here, you'll soon notice that sometimes you need to troll so the Conservatives leave their cave once in a while. No, that would be a strategy to discuss. Many times the opinions of the right are in the closet, because if they show their true faces they would cause panic in many people.

Although in these forums I've seen ideas from the conservative that cause me panic.

 

I think it should, yes, be illegal, but not punishable by prison. There should be rehabilitation for it. I mean, it's not that bad. I just don't agree with it.

Not really. What you've got going is a stereotype. I believe exactly what you said you believed in your post to me, yet I'm conservative. I've seen some pretty bad ideas from the left too.

I think a much bigger topic, and one more appealing to my interests, is why do we see everything as red vs blue, liberal vs conservative, rnc vs dnc.....yet ignoring that people are broad, smart, and hold many different levels of beliefs coinciding with each others. You have radicals on every side, but their numbers are small percentages. Yet we debate using the stereotypes and assumptions. I guess I feel politics is more about people vs people rather any singular group or belief. /steps off soap box *sorry lol*

 

If their opinions are in the closest, then you have no way of actually knowing how they really feel about gays. You're just stereotyping.

People are often braver online than they are in real life. This is why I never base anything about a particular group of people from what I find online. This is what I've always gone by when I look for racism or misogamy. It's better to find examples of bigotry in the mainstream than it is online.

 

I suspected Kilgram of sarcasm, however after seeing some of the crazy opinions on this board I am starting to actually believe some rather insane comments.

 

I wanted to make go outside of the closet the radical ones. No the moderate ones, that don't want the illegalization, but I think that they wouldn't refuse it at all.

It awakaned me this strategy because I saw recently an ultraconservative association that was demanding exactly this.

 

Well that is your assessment. Real world indicators will tell you that mainstream liberals and conservatives aren't like the people online. As I've said earlier, people are braver online than they are in real life. They will say whatever they feel, as they do not care what a total stranger things of them.
