But they are a part of the America you live in. So does that mean you are not proud to be an American, or only fractionally proud to be an American?

 

Intersting that some people find their pride conditional as to who our President is or is not.

I am of course proud of America. We have many things to be proud of, many people to be proud of.

There are times I am not proud of some specific action or another done in our name, but that doesn't change my overall pride in our country.

 

We will survive Barrack bin Husseini O'bama, then we can get back to being great.

 

I am very proud to be an American and would gladly give my life for this country and those I love.

I may not agree with our policies but this is still my country, my family and my home.

i love being American, also to the people who picked "not while obama`s in office" your not a true american. To only love your country when someone you like is pres is cheap and fake. Hate the man not the country.

That's the way I feel, I would give my life gladly for my country, and it hurts to be so embarrassed for us at this time. This man never should have been elected, got there for all the wrong reasons, and I doubt very much he would give his life. It shocked me when his wife made that statement of how she is JUST NOW proud,,,WTF??? She can go to Hell, and his obvious bias and prejudice stood out like a sore thumb with the beer gate fiasco, this man does not deserve to be a dog catcher let alone President.

He has been spending and wasting time with his special projects and ignoring our country, as we suffer with unemployment he's planning another failed stimulus, our failure means little to him as he was not happy with the Country in the first place. Obama would like nothing better than go bust and start all over again,,his way. This guy has to go, the sooner the better....
This man will lose large and deservedly so, hope and change my ass.....My only regret is he will still be an ex President, and be a bigger pain in the ass than Carter...

You poll is slanted toward a good result... are you proud to be an American assumes the respondent is American, and since something like 20% of all Americans even have a passport how can you expect anyone to have any international perspective? Not to mention "proud" is rather subjective.
