I can't think of a single better reason to shrink the size of government by 50%. Who let this happen? Did they get fired? I doubt it. If that was the private sector, the responsible party would get fired toot sweet. This is the real crux of the problem with big bloated government is the lack of accountability for those in charge. They can screw up like this year after year and nothing ever happens to them, the finish their tenure in the job looking at internet porn and retire with a big fat pension while taxpayers take it in the wallet for their cavalier attitude about their job.
