    This review was very good.

Obama has become desperate. My bet is Obama will soon back off his position to raise taxes on the rich. This was merely a political ploy to mollify the MSNBC viewers and the highly-critical Huffington Post subscribers!

The most famous part of the book is the Larry Summers quote that he saw Obama's group as a "Home Alone" administration, with no grown-ups in charge.

The day Obama believes he has no chance to get re-elected is the day he declares martial law and suspends the 2012 election.

I do not support Obama (at all), however I still believe he will more than likely get reelected. People are blinded by his charismatic appearance. He says its getting better you just have to wait and people believe him.

The republicans (with most of their candidates) do not stand a chance. In polls the closest person is Mitt Romney and Chris Christie (even though he said he would not run). In polls I see a generic republican will win against Obama but any of the candidates will lose. The republicans do not have anybody that independents want which is a serious issue and will probably allow Obama to be re-elected.

The USA's only chance is to get a republican super majority in both house and senate so they can bypass Obama's vetoes and start to get the country on the right path again.

History is not on Obama's side. No President has ever been reelected with an economy this bad. Once the GOP candidate becomes known, I suspect they will win every poll out there against Obama. People do not want 5 more years of this.

While I agree that history is not on Obama's side, Obama broke history to become the first (half) black president.

Obama may have a low approval rating (from the economy and his policies) but he still does well in polls which worries me greatly.

Yes, because America wants a retarded lunatic leading them.

Mitt is the only one who could beat Obama possibly. Well, maybe Huntsman could if he could get votes in his own party, which he can't.

He's going to win because he's the lesser of two evils for independants. Unless another Ross Perot/Ralph Nader comes in, it looks like an Obama victory.

I'm not so sure. In the article you cite, a very valid point is made. Obama can't win BUT the Republicans can lose.
If they put Whackmann on the ticket ANYWHERE, game over. Same with Paul or Eskimo Barnie. Independents & Moderates who would have voted GOP or just stayed home, would flock to the polls to vote for Obama.
Perry will be a close race. There is a LOT to be concerned about with him on the ticket.
I think Romney could kick Obama's ass but between the Tea Party, Libertarians and Ultra-Cons, I just don't know if he'll get the nom.
On the other side, if the Dems let Biden opn his mouth enough, that may solve the problems for the GOP right there...

My cat could have won the election against McCain in 2008. Consider:

    Gas prices
    Housing Bubble Collapse
    Wall Street Bailouts
    Bank Bailouts
    Anti-Republican sentiment
    Anti-Bush sentiment
A nearly 2:1 advantage in campaign warchests
    A compliant media
    McCain's sparkling charisma

And Obama still only beat the wet-noodle by 5 percentage points.

Whoever faces Obama will trounce him.

Got to agree. What does Obama have going for him but a small hard core contingent of O-bots? This will be like Mondale all over again.

I think the tea party will support whoever the Republicans nominate because they know how very important it is to get TheOne out. Chances are it won't be the tea party's first choice but they know how historic this election is.

    I agree, MC.

Many wasteful liberal programs will be eliminated and the EPA will be placed on a short leash!

Off shore deep water drilling wil begin once again and millions of new jobs will be created by the private sector.

I can no longer tell the difference between Obama and Jimmy Carter!

One is as big a fool as the other!
