The US military as an entity is not murdering anybody.Their directives prohibit it. Enlisted criminals who happen to commit murder are tried if caught and punished if convicted. On the other hand generally the resistance is directed to make waves by targeting innocent folks, not really for militarstic value...but propagandic equity.

    Sorry to pop ur bubble.

I'm using the term as it is expected to be used- depicting ' surprised disgust '. There are plenty of people named ' Jesus ' and plenty named ' Christ '.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ_(surname)

Monopolies on names are unAmerican- just as monopolies on money should be.

    And...

Do you have evidence to convict them? Im sure the Marines would like to see it. After all they put the full court press on the guys and just couldnt get it done.

Thats the other part about trials...you need to prove your case.

Don't forget to add "unions and their thugs."

Nobody deserves anything except life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

I'm given to understand that the unions are getting behind this protest. What exactly is the nature of your complaint ?

That the politicians are as much at the beck-and-call of the unions as they are the corporate bosses.

No not really,,it depends on the situation. If loans are paid back and jobs are saved then it may make sense. What Obama did with that solar outfit seems mighty shady....all those guys took the fifth...

Yeah. All those protestors are anti-American traitors 'cause Big Business told me so.

I'm willing to bet that if corporations told the right-wing to jump off a cliff, they'd start running and worry about finding a cliff later...

Let's disabuse ourselves of this notion of corporate welfare post haste. There is no such thing. And while we're at it, we can do away with this silly idea that there is some kind of purity to our political process and that people go into politics with noble intentions.

OK, but don't the unions represent the exploited and the bosses represent the exploiters ? Isn't this protest about poverty versus corporate greed ?

When governments and societies fail individuals in their own systems then those individuals stand a higher chance of growing up, failing the government and the societies in which they exist.

There will always be lazy people, but a decent well paid job which pays for a nice home, buys nice things and boosts self esteem which I believe is much more preferable than just about getting by on the lowest handouts, struggling to pay the energy bills and getting into debt, would be most peoples preference in my opinion. There are many reasons why there are unemployed people, just labelling them all as lazy or slackers or spongers won't solve the issue to why they're in that position in the first place.
In my opinion however western capitalism is driven to pushing a wedge between the rich and the poor, so there will always be those with nothing, and those with everything, instead of everyone with something.

If the system fails you, you'd stand a higher chance of failing the system.

Meh, anyone who has credit caused this crisis.
It's us that are borrowing from the banks etc etc. Supply for demand.

Our governments credit cards got us into this. Their exploitation of credit to push political agendas is why austerity now looms over western capitalism, hardly citizens with credit cards, of course governments and the corporations that support them or need the government will always blame the majority for the mess they had no say in making, and that the government and corporations and banking institutions made in the first place.

The banks and government (*)(*)(*)(*) up and everyone else has to pay, and that's why people are protesting, because millions of peoples quality of life is dependent on the competence or in this case incompetence of the ruling elite, political elite and financial institutions.

I think if our governments really cared about austerity and our economies they should make an example of themselves by lowering their wages significantly, because for the past century, they've been paid to get our countries into debt and conduct wars and are now being paid to take money away from the people, take opportunity away from the people, through their negligence and foul conduct.
