I don't need to look at the video. The relentless and endless rise in the cost of education in the US is the direct result of the easy government money that removes all incentive to control cost. See Housing Bubble for another great example.

Public education has little competition so naturally it's bad and expensive. Plus they spend half their money stupidly teaching foreign kids in their native language.
