A snake eating it's tail. A teenager in their prime engaging in sex and producing offspring. A grandparent at 40- the result. Dying at 80 with 15 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
News flash: that was COMMON a couple generations ago! My grandmother's first grandchild was born when she was 41. Her daughter (my aunt) was a grandmother at 43.
I don't think 40 is really all that young to be a grandparent. Moreso now than for previous generations, but that just means that you had a kid when you were twenty, and that kid had a kid when they were twenty. Not terribly unreasonable. Seems young to me, but my mom was twenty-one when I was born.
This thread started stupid and got worse. I move it be closed and allowed to die the death it so richly deserves.
