See everyone? What fun this authoritarianism is when you don't like the cause being protested!! Cmon join the party!

Make ya a deal. The cops can beat a couple of OWS people if they can also beat the Tea Party losers that dress like colonial people. Those losers make nerds who dress like Chewbacca for Star Wars movies look cool.

There are tons of vets in this thing.
Our neighbor is a vet like me, and he's the first person I've talked to irl about OWS.

And almost 1 in 4 of our country's homeless are vets. Who says so?

    http://www.nationalhomeless.org/factsheets/veterans.html

I can provide other sources but to say our vets don't have a homeless problem displays ignorance of the facts.
What do you think these people have been coming home to?

95% of the homeless are women? I don't believe that for a minute.

Not based on the videos that I've seen. The majority seem to be rent-a-mob progressive agitators and college kids.

America’s homeless veterans have served in World War II, the Korean War, Cold War, Vietnam War, Grenada, Panama, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Iraq (OEF/OIF), and the military’s anti-drug cultivation efforts in South America. Nearly half of homeless veterans served during the Vietnam era. Two-thirds served our country for at least three years, and one-third were stationed in a war zone.

Roughly 56 percent of all homeless veterans are African American or Hispanic, despite only accounting for 12.8 percent and 15.4 percent of the U.S. population respectively.

About 1.5 million other veterans, meanwhile, are considered at risk of homelessness due to poverty, lack of support networks, and dismal living conditions in overcrowded or substandard housing.

Yes I am a disabled veteran, served in the US Army. Panama and Desert Storm.

If the police are using excessive force, then they need to be called out.

As for the vet that thinks it's ok to attack peacefully protestors who are exercising their rights, I suggest he take a look at the oath he took, you know the whole defending the constitution thing. Wow....

There duty is to protect the protestors from people like you. If the police started beating peaceful protestors then they protestors have every right to beat them back but harder.

So whats the problem? The ones that broke the law went to jail. Are you suggesting that police club protesters who are not breaking the law and are just practicing their constitutional rights?

Also look up a concept called civil disobedience and a man named Gandhi. Perhaps you have heard of him?

You know if you don't like these guy's message that our protesting, that's one thing, but demonizing these people for using their constitutional rights, that pretty much makes you no better than people like Montoya. He constantly smears people who protest, that he happens to disagrees with.

So how's rolling around in the muck working out for you.

It's better to make these OWS protestors look stupid rather than give them a beatdown. They'll be gone once the cold weather comes around. If they were smart, and obviously they're not, they would actually DO something rather than yell and scream like remove banks from their lives, stop investing, etc.

Most of these protestors still live at home with mommy and daddy so all they have to do is put in the effort. Oh wait, there's the problem right there...They need someone to do it for them.......

Non-homeless, non-alcoholic, non-drug addicted, non-mentally ill vets served in World War II, the Korean War, Cold War, Vietnam War, Grenada, Panama, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Iraq (OEF/OIF), and the military’s anti-drug cultivation efforts in South America. They went on to get college degrees, start families and businesses, and achieve a great deal. Life is full of choices.

I think the unrealistic assumption is that the OWS'ers are lawful protestors in all of these incidents.

I think many have bought into the fiction that these protestors are peaceful and lawful.
Were there any mass arrests at Tea Party rally's for resisting police??? I don't think so.

So basically, the whackjobs here feel it's fine to have a violent, totalitarian government that oppresses people exercising their Constitutional rights - as long as the violent oppressive government is doing so, only to people who have different political views than their own.
So in what way are they different than Saddam Hussein?
    None that I see.

What constitutional rights have been violated? Blocking traffic and resisting arrest is breaking the law. Getting hit with MACE or a Baton isn't in itself unconstitutional.
