Cain is discovering that with front-runner status comes more scrutiny. I'm not sure he is prepared for this. My guess is, he never expected to be a front-runner and is as surprised as the rest of us that he is.

Yes, I think he just wanted to sell books and get more to give lectures and now finds himself frontrunner. It just goes to show how weak the republican field at this time is.

That's because hes not really a front-runner. That is a media fabrication. I bet less than 10% of Republicans actually support him.

I don't understand why you think he said what you seem to think he said. He was giving his opinion about his personal belief, and another on what the law should be. I am of the same opinion, i don't think there is an ethical reason to get an abortion unless its one life over another (which is a no win situation) but i wouldn't close the door to people who have been raped, the reason is persuasive and and arguably fair (although i don't think its ethical or right, the baby did not do anything wrong), however people who use abortion as a means of late birth control disgust me. Take some responsibility in life, if you messed around without having a solid foundation and end up a Father or Mother, then you must live with the consequences of your own actions. irresponsible choices has consequences and its shameful that some people think the child should simply be killed in order to escape that consequence.

    That doesnt make any sense.

Either he supports the choice for abortion or he doesnt, but here he says he wants to make it illegal to have any abortion but at the same time leave the choice to the woman.

If he wanted to make a difference between what he thinks is best for the country and his own beliefs he should have stated that, he didnt he just supported both sides.

The more he talks the more he seems illiterate and an example of why affirmative action doesn't work in each and every case.

I heard him on Fox this morning trying to clarify his statement, which only made it worse. Interestingly enough not one of the Fox and Friend trio interrupted him once. For the life of me I don't know why, he was bombing something awful.

He's personally against it, the government shouldn't be interrupting in a personal decision that should be made by the woman and her family, but it should be against the law. Then he clarified that by saying it should be the woman’s choice if she wants to break the law. He's pro-choice that it should be up to the family, but it should remain illegal?? So he is pro-choice, but pro life.

I'm glad he took the time to clear that up. Does he really have a radio program???

I think this is pretty accurate.

I disagree with this. Given the type of guy he is, I don't think he would have bothered to get invovled unless he was serious about winning. I think this is more where his lack of political experience comes into play. He's a total boss in the business world but when it comes to the public scrutiny that comes with holding office, I'm not sure he's groomed to handle it yet.

He has been a motivational speaker for years. This fits in precisely in what he does.

But anyone with half a brain directly sees 9 9 9 will be a huge problem with the lower classes. I cant seriously believe he thought that to be a good idea.

Same with abortion it was a simple question and his answer doesnt make any sense.
