I know how to read. Do you know how to do math? I will get a lot bigger volume with a ton of feathers than I will with a ton of bricks. But yet they still weigh the same. Now if I get 1,000 calories in carrots, how much volume of carrots am I going to have compared to 1,000 calories of chips? I know you would be stuffed on that 1,000 calories of carrots vs the 1,000 calories of chips.

And if you want to ignore that poor people who stay poor are lazy, well then that is your porogative, I am just showing you something you don't want to believe. But I guess all those sports stars and rappers and musicians and any other successful business person in the world is a hard worker, and for the most part physically fit, even before they made their money.

Under my plan poor Obama voters sitting on their butts doing nothing will see their net worth go down.

Because they will be forced to pay some of their income to support the government and they will no longer get it back under the Earned Income Tax Credit.

Because that program would be canceled.

It would save us billions. A Government worker making approx $50,000 a year + benefits would collect approx $20,000 a year on unemployment with no benefits. So, we would save approx $30,000 for every for every non essential government worker terminated. The savings would be more if you counted in the cost of pension and benefits. In August 2011 (last of the non preliminary numbers) there were 22,036,000 Government workers nationwide. If we let go 25% of them or 5,509,000 workers X $30,000 savings apiece (after paying them unemployment) = $165,270,000,000 or $165.2 Billion dollars a year in cost cutting. $1.6 trillion over 10 years.

    get em while their hot

there is less stigma associated with using the food stamp card now at the grocery store since its a bad economy so it is best for Americans to see if they are eligible for benefits

The ridiculousness of it all I suppose. In my travels around the globe over the years, I have seen real poverty, real hunger, and heartbreaking reality.

Our poor are richer than 93% of the globe relatively speaking.

As far as the "healthiness" of it all.........it reminds me of P.J. O'Rourke LOL

"One nice thing about the Third World, you don't have to fasten your seat belt. (Or stop smoking. Or cut down on saturated fats.) It takes a lot off your mind when average life expectancy is forty-five minutes." -- P.J. O'Rourke

They have been given the opportunity, maybe filling out applications is a good start?

But if you want to go to communism or socialism, the unemployed/able get the easy way out, a $.39 bullet to the back of the head like they did in Cuba, China, Russia, Korea, Vietnam, etc.

Because there is worse poverty in the world doesnt mean there isnt any in the USA.

Prove it. Counting the calories you buy doesn't mean crap when you don't include volume. It is a Faux argument to claim you get more calories from chips than from carrots, but leave out you need way more in volume (you know what volume is) in carrots to equal a bag of chips?

You already posted that and it already was ripped apart as complete BS.

Car and airco are quit normal in europe, same goes for home ownership

The differences between the countries make such coparisons on pure gdp useless

Do you really think poor people go through the store thinking, "How can I get the most calories for my money?" What a stupid idea.

All they think about is what will taste good, with no consideration of the consequences of their diet.

When it is not your money, why bother caring what you get. Why do you think the projects look they way they do?

No I reserve my sardonic mirth for silly people who make ridiculous claims, who apparently have no idea how well of they are, and who lash out in foolish anger when unable to support their position.

You have never been out of the country have you and if you have....you certainly have not been to a 3rd world country. After all, who goes on vacation to Haiti? Dominican Republic? Somalia? Afghanistan? It isn't just food either....it is access to fresh water, basic access to mosquito nets to stave off malaria, basic access to medication. It is lack of basic transportation.

Our poorest has access to a plethora of off the shelf medications available in even the smallest towns......they can drink clean fresh water from just about any water source. They have access to elaborate forms of public transportation.............. LOL Getting the picture?

Do you think you should get a tax break for mortgage interest when someone on food stamps can not afford to buy a house?

Sure we need to "cut the fat" but where do we cut?
