President George W. Bush supported the $700-billion Wall Street bailout. That is socialism. He ran and got elected as a REPUBLICAN. Can someone explain how we can trust others on the same media circus (weather left or right)
And if not, may I suggest you read www.pvsi.net and get involved?

No it isn't. That is nowhere close to socialism. It is corrupt capitalism, or "crony capitalism" as others call it.

We can't trust them. And to be fair, everyone saw how crappy Bush was in the first four years, and they re-elected him.
Which was a slap in the face for people all across the globe and made us lose a lot of our standing.

And there should be a third option: Bush was a typical neocon doing what Rumsfield and Chaney and all sorts of insidious factions commanded him to do.

Saddam Hussein, Stalin, Hitler, Gadaffi all got "re-elected" - best way to re-elect my dog is to put him up against my rooster. my dog will win hands down: he can sit, come, go inside, stay, stop, heal...

Bush passed the American Dream Act and Medicare part D. He wasted a great deal of money on nation building.

    I want a real conservative.

Me too. a real conservative or a real democrat does not matter - as long as they're real: much like a real conservative, a real democrat would not waste tax payers money on the special interests as Obamba and Clinton have.
The only real person I see on the special interest controlled media atm is an older gentleman Ron Paul.

Shouldn't be so hard on Bush. He WAS the republican party's best possible choice for POTUS at the time, and our country's only "appointed" POTUS.

I don't know what you're drinking but you're full of it. ALL US POTUSES are appointed/selected by special interests, and only then elected by people - it states so in the revolutionary bible: www.pvsi.net paragraph 4

    Was Bush a Liberal Socialist?

Was the Spanish Inquisition a Girls' Friendly Society? Was Ghengiz Khan an anarchist pacifist? Is my posterior President of the United States?

Capitalists and their politicians want to save capitalism at public expense, obviously. Nutters want to cut of their feet to spite President Obama.

Bush was a socialist for the rich. Apparently to many Republicans the most needy in the world are the richest. So we distribute wealth upwards.

He suggests we read his website in which he is the only one involved and and join his one man movement. Watching his YouTube video of 53 views is about all the involvement I can stand.

Bush is not a liberal socialist, and there was NEVER a liberal socialist leader in all of history.

A few early social liberals took up the term 'Liberal Socialist' in the late 19th century, and there is a minor Italian school of 'Liberal Socialism'. But, both are very minor.

Bush is a conservative, that's it. Conservative doesn't mean free markets and less government. In fact, the right-wing has a long history of economic interventionism, although for the opposite reasons as the left. Also, George Bush is merely giving money to big businesses, which is the OPPOSITE of socialism. Conservatives, both free market and regulated market, want money to big businesses. Because, big businesses are part of the established society, which conservatives want to conserve. (The definition says it all.)

I am a Liberal Socialist. I want a liberalized economy (Free market, as in classical liberalism) and I want worker's control over the means of production. (Socialism) And, I also want a constitutional republican semi-direct democracy that values liberty and equality. (Values of liberalism and socialism respectively.)

The assertion that Bush is a liberal socialist is the most idiotic thing that I ever heard, and thus you deserve the [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hfYJsQAhl0"]Idiot of the Year Award [/ame]

Edit: I just noticed that a majority of the voters in the biased poll voted that Bush is a liberal socialist. Goes to say much of the intelligence of this forum. (The poll makes you either think Bush is a Liberal Socialist or that he's an awesome conservative. Not even getting to the view that he is a horrible conservative.)
