quite tragic, but in the case of Pakistan their secret service is involved in dozens of Jihad groups, and is known to backstab the USA on a regular basis. Its a unreliable ally which all ties should be slashed once the US is out of Afghanistan. time to focus on true allies. India seems far more reliable.

Look at that incident from Captain Rogers and the ships point of view:

1) They are with in 100miles of a country that doesn’t like the Untied States. And is in a de facto state of war with the United States.
2) A helicopter from the Vincennes received small arms fire from Iranian patrol vessels.
3) The aircraft that was shot down, didn’t respond to multiple radio challenges. (All major flights everywhere in the world, radio traffic are in English)

 

Why would the Pakistani Gov't hide OBL? THey know that money, weapons and tech. are going to keep coming no matter what. When they open fire, it may be a rouge unit that is doing that.
