I'm not the one throwing out accusations. If someone is gonna make a bogus and partisan statement like the one i quoted, its their responsibility to support it.
I'm not certain, but considering hes the president, i think its safe to assume he's not spending most of his time boogie boarding. Again, I'm not the one throwing out accusations, I'm just questioning whether or not your nut job outrage is justified.
Throwing out accusations? Are you not the one who is insisting that Obama is working hard while on vacations? I'm asking how you know this, so who is throwing out accusations? You are asking me to support my thinking that he is actually vacationing rather than working? WTF?
WTF thread are you reading? And the most comical part of this is that for one to assume that someone is actually vacationing while they are on "vacation" in Hawaii is nutjob outrage. LOL, Troll!
Yes, I was clearing up that chart showing the vacation days. That really bursted a few bubbles I see.
Excuse me? You think you cleared up the chart? How? By making a claim about Bush that you can't substantiate while you insist that anyone who says Obama might also be working on his vacation is making a claim they can't substantiate?
You are excused. I stated that Bush was at his ranch in Texas for many of those supposed vacation days. Can you substantiate any claims that you are making the Obama is working? Hypocrite much?
Great. Thread hijacked be the ever prevalent "I know you are but what am I?" debate. If you all are genuine, mature adults, you will delete every post back to the real contributions.
I'm sorry -- I didn't realize I was dealing with someone who is incapable of rational thought. Please accept my apologies.
Well what is your rational thought? That Obama is obviously working while he is taking all of the luxurious vacations? Since that is your thinking, can you give some reasons why you think this way?
Gladly. First of all, I do believe that Obama works while on vacation. He pretty much has to. All the things he needs to do his job at the White House go with him when he goes on vacation (yes, even the teleprompter). Second, I also believe that George Bush worked while he was on vacation. I believe this for the same reasons I believe Obama works now. This, I think, is a rational way to look at it. It makes a lot more sense than your "Bush worked, Obama doesn't, I don't have to prove any of this but if you disagree with me you have to prove everything" approach.
No I'm not saying i know that. I'm saying its unreasonable to think a presidents vacation would be anything like our vacations, and that i imagine he's still working. What I'm asking someone else to support, is their accusation that bush worked on vacation and obama doesnt.
Meanwhile you can't answer the question of why you think Bush worked. The difference here is that I'm perfectly willing to believe that Bush worked. You, when given a choice of what to believe, can only believe the worst thing available when it comes to Obama.
On second thought, 17 days is not enough, he should take off the next 17 weeks, then he won't be (*)(*)(*)(*)ing up the country...
But mostly plays and shops and hangs out as is reported when he is on his vacations. No Bush worked from home, like most Presidents who have. We don't require Presidents to give up their personal residents. Just as Carter went to his farm in Plains regularly and tend personal affairs while working thus did Bush. Obama is on VACATION. Why isn't he in DC doing as he said, making getting the economy into recovery so new jobs are created. Where is all this focus and top priority and he will not rest until talk now?
