So it would be OK if they were killed in a frenzied orgy of prison staff?

I'd have to disagree with you on that. If someone wants to kill people (for example) and bring so much suffering to so many, he or she should be willing to put up with the consequences, death. I find it a fitting punishment, although I'm also fine without the death penalty because either way they die like pathetic losers or they rot in a 6'x4' cell for decades.

No, I actually consider all killing wrong.

In some cases of self defence I can understand it happening though, however, nobody has the right to take another person's life.

    Simple.

What is "wrong" with killing other people?

    In moderation.

That's fine: many people disagree with me.

It doesn't stop me from believing that the death penalty is a primitive form of punishment that has no place in a civilised society.

In moderation???? Let's be careful now, Awryly, I know spending days at a time surrounded by sheep in a little wooden cabin in the mountains can get to you...

There is no such thing as moderation with killing people. It is either just or unjust.

    No it's not.

It is useful or it is not.

Well I am glad we disagree on this and it is fine. We really need checks and balances. So that being said if someone nuked Sydney what would you do? Nothing is all you could do unless you wanted war. Oh cant do that because people die don't they.

I am not concerned with the criminals, nor do I have any sympathy for them.

I am only concerned with the act of killing: nobody has the right to kill another human being.

    Simple.

And who are these ISLAMOFASCIST SWINE, and/or their Braindead Supporters you speak of? I never knew of an Islamist that was anti death penalty.

    Just saying.

You have not answered the question.

Should Saddam and Gadaffi have been saved from death? And, if so, why?

Im not fine with that my tax dollars keep these murderers alive in prison rotting for decades contributing absolutely nothing to society.
We keep talking about cutting spending, we should start with the prison system.

Thats cool, thats your belief and I respect that.

I on the other hand believe there are quite a few people in the world who deserve to die because of their actions.

Ah. But would you happily put a bullet into those no doubt well-deserving creatures, or put a noose around their necks?

Or would you rather someone else did it for you?

Corporate fraudsters could be considered economic war targets, were the people to fight back.

But it seems "[they], the people" only bear arms to shoot them fellas running with their tv sets.

I would "rather" someone else did it, I don't like killing anything unless I have to, that's why I'm not an executioner even though I support capital punishment to the fullest. I think it needs to be done, but that doesn't mean I want to be the one to do it. Just like I love eating all sorts of meats but I don't want to be the butcher that has to slay the animal for it. I'm glad there are people out there who happily take the job to provide me with my burgers. Just like I am happy there are people out there to take the job of executioner to rid society of scum.

The Chinese have no qualms about executing corporate fraudsters.

It is a point of civilised difference they have with Americans.

Who merely encourage them their wonders to perform.
