How do you rank the GOP candidates now?

Romney is who the Conservatives are going to hold there noes and pull the leaver for. Deal with it.

Ron Paul I don't agree with and sounds crazy but I respect him so he's my second choice. He doesn't seem to be a sellout or anything like that which nearly all the other GOPers are.

 

Indeed sad. Though I'm hoping for Rick Santorum or Michelle Bachman, neither of them are skilled in the fine political art of getting noticed. Santorum will whine on Foxnews about how he's not getting good coverage, but he won't do what it takes to stand out. Romney has a plastic personality and, under normal circumstances, would hardly be noticed. But the Republican establishment has chosen him, so his ratings are artificially inflated.

So sad that the true conservatives won't rise to the top because they're timid.

I still like Perry and I didn't mean to exclude him from my list. One of the lessons learned from Perry's gaff is that the most precious commodity in any presidential campaign is sleep. It's hard to get, but more important than money, endorsements, or anything else, because it directly bears on performance before the cameras. I'll bet a hog against a huckleberry that Perry spaced out because he didn't get enough rest the night before.
