Mistake 1: Communists as you can see in this forum don't hide that they are communists.

USA has two parties: The right and the extreme right. There is no left.

It is funny to see the right saying that they are communists but without any clue about what is communism and with no possibility to show any communist policy applied by any government, even local.

    Honest post.

Australia has headed in much the same direction the last few decades, so it's not unique to America.

Obviously, there are smart honest people on both sides of the political divide, but party loyalty and party policies keep these people well apart. Not daring to cross the party line is an injustice to the people.

Whatta load of BS. Democrats -- the party of wealth envy... even though their politicians are richer than anybody.

Rich usually vote republican. Poor usually vote democratic. Facts are facts. Sorry you're uncomfortable with them (well, not really).

Just sit back and enjoy the show, you'll never see a show like this at any Circus.

wow, plenty of people have lived immoral lives and will continue to live immoral lives regardless of political or social bent, it has nothing to do with some bogeyman assault from the "left"

The information presented is so wrong on so many levels it is hard to know where to start.

First, Americans have always engaged in spirited debate and don't mind making it public as opposed to more reticent nations such as Canada or those where it is against the law; Cuba, North Korea, Syria, Iran and so forth.

    Two, this statement
is completely wrong. The right wants the government OUT of such issues.

Three, to cit roads, bridges and so forth is outright hogwash as none of that is even anywhere near the debate. Such things as entitlements, hand outs, education grants, welfare and social programs ARE very much in the debate.

When the uninformed state an opinion it is usually embarrassing. When the totally uninformed pass judgment it is a tragedy.

I agree with 1-3. Good last line, too! There may be a #3 part B - roads, bridges, and so forth are not only not near the debate - they're nowhere to be found except in the phony sales pitches of our political hucksters. I wonder how many more supposed "infrastructure" and "jobs" bills we'll have shoved under our noses until we pass out from the putrid stench of their fraud and deception.

I guess now I qualify for the first sentence in your last aphorism.

I am so tired of having to correct this. This is one of those fallacies that people hear other people repeat so often that they just parrot it, themselves, without ever really stopping to examine it. If you actually break down and quantify the individual issues, you'll find that liberals are MUCH more intrusive into people's personal lives with social issues than conservatives are. For the most part, conservative are very live-and-let-live.

It is the left that wants bigger government all the way across the board in both social and economic issues. Their whole MO is control.
