    ...nope...while French men aren't known for being "rugged", I'm sure they don't want to walk down the street with some fat-assed-ugly-burkenstock-wearing woman...over here you would be put on trial, have your credit rating dropped, forced to take a drug screening, and forced into community service for even insinuating your wife or girl friend's cloths looked a little tight...you have no idea what American men are putting up with on a day to day basis...

    The atrocities are beheading, whipping, abusing women. Folk want to get upset, think about the poor child brides and the dancing boy abused by these bearded burly men not our brave Marine Corp fighing these monsters.

    The only problem I have is that they obviously knew they were being recorded and did it anyway.

    This is a harmless activity until it becomes some sort of prank memoire.....and therefore easy propaganda. I can understand feeling this way about people who were just trying to kill you and may have injured or killed your fellow soldiers. What they needed to do is deal with their emotions without broadcasting them beyond their unit or making record of it.

    So you favor pissing on dead enemies? The combat killing isn't atrocious at all.

    It's sorta like piling on after a tackle. Even the NFL will flag you for that.

    Its not the peeing that is bad, its the video. It is propaganda material that will only help the enemy.

    I would have rather those marines just give the taliban some weapons, it would have done less harm that what is going to happen now.

    What is, in FACT, happening is that Americans are succumbing (again) to the AIPAC machine. And it is disgusting to watch folks like Gingrich and Santorum toady up to the machine. The pro-Israel folks are more than happy to fight the Muslims to the last American GI.

    As a former Marine who served.... I see nothing wrong with what they did. Unless any of you have taken a life and have been shot at and seen your friends explode in front of your own eyes, I suggest you leave the killing and what we do after to us.

    I don't particularly favor it or disfavor it, just seems like a whole lot of faux outrage and yet another excuse for the unrelenting America bashing... If this is the worst our troops are doing, I can live with that. Save the outrage for something that warrants it.
