The Canadians warned us, and it they are moving forward. I am sure China will appreciate the jobs, supply, and better relations with Canada. I can't say I blame them.

Barack Obama and the environmentalists have screwed over the nation for jobs and inexpensive energy once again.

let china become dependent on oil we are moving away from that nonsense.

oil has cost americans wars and higher consumption costs everytime there is a conflict in the middle east

Maybe we'll be able to get foreign aid from Canada once the petro dollars start flowing in from China.

Oil is for barkwards countries who don't have high tech green companies like Solandrya and exciting new green solutions like the Chevrolet Volt.

    You're right!

Lessening U.S. dependency on Middle East Oil is likely a bad idea. Those Canadian terrorists and wars will be the end of us!

canada cannot meet the entire needs of US demand for oil as long as the middle east provides any oil to the US which it will there will always be involvement

everyones needs for oil including the US is growing and oil resources are diminishing so this would be a bad investment

Oil demand is at an all time high with the emergence of China and India and Brazil economically.

The less we need from the Middle East, the less we will have to even consider any sort of terrorism or war effort in the volatile Middle East region.

that is all the more reason to get off of oil, the oil market is not isolated it is connected so anytime the middle east goes into conflict it will drive prices up even if they only supply 1 percent of oil

First you reduce and get off Middle East oil.... you will never "get off oil" completely in the next 100 years as plastics and so much more are made from petroleum.
