These places at first glance appear to be very different from each other, but they share a number of similarities: Both used to be independent nations(and wish to be independent again) Both are conservative Both have their own weird dialects Both are located in the south(of their respective nations) Both have their own brands of leather pants(Texas: Chaps, Bavaria: lederhosen) Both were the locations of the assassinations of charismatic but somewhat incompetent leaders(JFK and King Ludwig II) Both leaders assassinated were connected to fairy tales(JFK: Camelot, Ludwig: 'The fairy tale king' Both were annexed through wars between other nations(Texas: Mexican-American, Bavaria: Franco-Prussian) Both are centers for agriculture and industry Both have their own brand of music(Texas: Country, Bavaria: Yodeling)
It's funny how two seemingly completely different places and can actually be quite similar. Nice find. If things keep going the way they are, I know at least one of those two places could very well find themselves independent again. I can only imagine how many states they'd take out of the union with them if they went.
The comparison as expressed in the OP doesn't make sense at all... For multiple reasons, there are many inaccuraties on the Bavarian as on the Texan side... I guess what I'm trying to say is that you are not making any sense...
