Ron Paul: Eliminate the Dept. of Energy

Like all of Ron Pauls economic ideas this one is stupid and would hurt the economy

 

Do not confuse your Utopian fantasy dreams with deductions and conclusions arrived from long experience and acute awareness of one's surroundings.

You may make assumptions, I don't.

 

The fact remains that green energy costs 2 times less then fossil fuels when you account for health and environmental costs

 

However in 2002 Bush gave up looking for Bin laden by 2005 the intelligence community had no idea where Bin laden was by 2006 Bush disbanded all groups look for him
So basically in 1081 days Obama accomplished what Bush Couldn't in 6 years

The deficit and increases in debt doesn't = wasted money dumbass.

Does that include passing a health care bill written by republicans? Does that include the tax cuts?

Yes because wanting to bring the riches taxes back to 2000 levels is such a war.

If we put Ameirca on a scale we could balance it out by putting your stupidy on the other side

 

The deficit results in an inflation tax on the people. Are you saying that debt is good?

You're cool... Insulting another member because of conflicting ideas. Whenever someone disagrees with you in the real world, do you stomp your feet and cry?

 

And also deficit spending does not always cause inflation, and even if it did there are times when inflation helps he economy. But those times can't be explained with one line bumper stickers meaning they are to complex for your simple mind

 

Why do you use the term inflation tax rather than inflation?

In response to Oakchair, you can have consumer spending without inflation. The 19th century is proof of that.

 

Inflation is the result of a government-sponsored economy and would not exist as it does in a lightly regulated free market. The only reason inflation would help and economy is if it is already mired in government ineptness.

 

This is one area I disagree with Paul on.

The good news is that, even if he became president, it's unlikely he could actually eliminate it.

 

Please explain this Utopian fantasy of mine and how you know it.

Barring ESP, you can't. That's why civilized people ask questions before putting their foot in their mouth.

It's easy; if you want to know what i think politically just ask.

For the record, I may also make assumptions based on someone's self-identified ideology. However, in a discussion, I will give the person a chance to clarify their personal positions since no one is a robot, not even Repugs.

OTOH if you want to continue to spew innuendos, you're free to do so. You'll have no one to blame but yourself for continued ignorance about real people's political views.
