The monuments were closed because of the shutdown. That is Congress's fault, not the President.

No wonder the GOP has moved so far to the extreme right. It's constituents apparently can't think for themselves and have lost the ability to even identify what is reasonable and what isn't. I think this is the same way that suicide bombers are created.

I suggest you write your congressman then and tell him/her to demand a clean vote in the house. Because the GOP is currently holding America hostage because they lost the last 2 elections and can't achieve their goals via legitimate means.

 

They're there because the President ordered them there to keep the "People" out. That did not include the illegal aliens sent by the President to demonstrate at the mall. They were welcomed by Nancy Pelosi representing Hussein not the people.

Actually, I want to encourage your Dear Leader to keep the government shut down. I have warmed to the idea. In fact, I believe more of it should be shut down. I have a list of nearly 500 independent agencies we should shut down. Completely.

The government, partially shut down is doing less damage to the people and to our economy. I think we should furlough all of the people who spy on American citizens in this country. I think the entire EPA could be sent home. Education does nothing useful. Send them home. Denationalize student loans. There is no reason for the federal government to be in the student loan business. It is unconstitutional. So send loans back to the banks. Send the busybody bureaucrats home. Permanently.

This is a great idea. Please encourage your Dear Leader to keep his nose held high in the air and let's keep this government shut down.

Witholding funding of Obamacare is not giving them "everything they want".

 

Congress offered funding to keep all of government open, with the exception of funding for Obamacare. Senate wouldnt even vote on it and Obama has vowed to veto it if they did.

Perhaps it is largely the Un-Americans who are being kept away from their busybody bureaucratic jobs. Have we seen any damage to the economy? Will the damage be greater than they would have caused by the busybody bureaucrats being busy harming the wealth creators?
