While torture is illegal under domestic and international law, without any accountability there is no guarantee that future US administrations wont pursue the same kind of policy, Andrea Prasow, deputy Washington director at Human Rights Watch, told RT. http://rt.com/op-edge/213799-torture-us-policy-accountability/ Is it possible that America will legalize torture? Or will "American torture" remain a political myth?
This is a rhetoric question, who we really are? Equality under God and under law, speaking of individual Americans or speaking of about foreigners or even governments of different nations. It is hart to stick with the principle of democracy. United Nations is of little help, unfortunately.
