    The shooter is responsible.

    Not the shop, not the state government, not the victims, not those who were not armed, not those who were armed (except the perp himself), not the police, not Republicans, not Democrats, not Warren, not Trump, not the NRA, not the Brady Campaign, not radical socialists, not white nationalists, not immigrants, not natives, not Anglos not Jews not Muslims not gays not Christians not Americans not Europeans not McConnell not Pelosi not even the shooter's parents.

    The shooter is solely responsible, without even a shadow of blame going to any other humans, alive or dead.

    Of course, he's dead now, and the human need to blame something, anything, makes accepting the above difficult.

    What is omitted by all the gun "enthusiasts" is the effects of all the innocent people shot by people "protecting" people, often imagined, of a bad guy threatening others, aside, of course, from those who were "accidentally shot by the owners.
