Trump frequently lashes out at reporters or cuts them off when he does not like their questions. As he did with Acosta.

Acosta had asked the President about the racist, anti-immigration ad from his re-election campaign that was subsequently banned from airing by Facebook, NBC, Fox, and elsewhere. Trump tore into the journalist after refusing to answer the question in a truthful manner.

“I’ll tell you what, CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them,” said Trump to Acosta. “You are a rude, terrible person. You shouldn’t be working for CNN.”

He told CNN's Abby Philip she had asked a “stupid question“ when she inquired about whether he appointed Matthew Whitaker as acting attorney general to sway the Russia investigation.

Trump accused PBS NewsHour's Yamiche Alcindor of asking a “racist question“ when she questioned him about reports of voter suppression in the midterm elections.

When asked whether his rhetoric was encouraging political violence, Trump accused the reporter of “creating violence by your questions.“

Trump called journalist April Ryan a "loser" who "doesn't know what the hell she is doing" while speaking to reporters at the White House.

Trump has the least decorum of anyone in the room. There is no doubt in my mind we have heard the last of his rules of decorum. Trump lashed out at the court's decision, and that will be the end of it. He will move on to other absurdities. That is his nature.

False. Trump has never respected the White House press corps. He regards them as the enemy.

"The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly."

He never explains what he is talking about. Never is specific. That is true of the White House as well. They have no idea what he is talking about, which explains why Trump is the only one in the White House that portrays the media as the "Enemy of the People."

Some of us are smart enough to have figured it out by now.

You will miss Trump when he's gone... some people do that... they suck all the air out of a room when they leave, doesn't necessarily mean they are good or nice... or have decorum lol

Dead wrong all but a handful of the white house press corps work for networks who have been hammering Trump ever since he announced his presidential run, they made it clear from the earliest days they saw Trump as public enemy number one, and have assaulted him verbally at every turn and called him things that he never was and still isn't and half the questions if not more that he gets from the press corps are at best thinly disguised questions of the "have you quit beating your wife" sort. There is seldom an attempt to elicit useful information just thin diatribes disguised rather poorly as questions.

Rules of decorum, Robert, will he follow his own rules? In the past, he has had the least decorum of anyone.

By the way, answering a question untruthfully or pretending one is unaware of the problem is not an answer to the question. Acosta persisted because he wanted a straight answer from the President.

Is that too much to ask?

"The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly."

Thank you. You just proved my point.

He'd be an idiot to not understand that he is, as far as the majority of the press corps, is concerned public enemy number one. They have made that obvious from the very beginning. Acosta, in particular, has been an obnoxious twit from the very beginning.

A president should not be expected to conform to the same "rules" as some run of the mill White House reporter.

I doubt you actually know the questions (as you put it) that Acosta is guilty of.

The democrat party lackeys, including those who voted for Hillary yet lie about being conservative, love how rude Acosta is. But look at how nice to Obama he was.

Watch Obama lie to the American public. I wonder when Sandy ever complained about the Obama lies? Watch Jim Acosta defend Obama's lies. With Trump he takes no quarter. Accuses Trump every time. With Obama Acosta rushed into defense mode for that particular president. He is a shame to his profession.

65 percent of America did not approve of how Obama handled the economy. Why then do Democrats keep bragging how great Obama was?

The WH will put rules into place, Acosta won’t be able to follow them, then his press pass will be removed and there is nothing he can do about it. Acosta should have said nothing, now with the court ruling trump will have the law on his side when he removes this vile human from the White House

You are correct. This judge did not rule against Trump, he said there should be rules set in place before someone could be removed. This ruling was a bonus for Trump and Sanders. It gives them the ability to set the standards, and if they are not followed, penalties can then be enforced. Acosta's continual accusatory grandstanding questions will no longer be tolerated and the entire press corps will blame him as being the cause. I love that asshat as his smuggness knows no bounds. All reminiscent of the creepy porn lawyer and Spartacus.
The OP is still living in denial and missed the entire point of the judges ruling, all he/she/alphabet saw was the headline "Acosta gets his pass back" which immediately allowed the chance to start another negative but incorrect thread about president Trump. Being a democrat is not always easy.

I disagree it is always easy...leaving in a fantasy world created by party leaders and never having to have to think is easy

Oh but it is easy. They believe without a shadow doubt that they have the moral high ground and the other guy is totally evil or crazy therefore there is no onus upon them to counter the other sides arguments or even listen to them let alone try to understand them. It is, to be sure, simplistic and more than a bit silly, but it is certainly easy.

That's right. A good President should be better than anyone else in the room. A good President should be above the fray. A good President would not get involved in personalities and insults. A good President and knowledgeable one would deal strictly with issues and be truthful, not evasive.

It seems we agree for a change.

Reporters are dedicated professionals and they have a difficult job, dealing with a President who is a bully (see OP for proof). Regarding Acosta and other members of the White House press corps, how would you feel if the President labeled your profession the "enemy of the American people."

What would be your thinking? Would you respect the President for saying that? Or would you feel that you have lost all respect for the President because you are proud of your profession?

Not everyone is he same and not everyone wants the same thing in a president. My favorite president was Harry Truman. He does not fit your definition of an ideal president.

IIRC Truman once threatened to beat up a reporter who gave his daughters singing a poor review.

And LBJ whom I don't like but is almost deified by some elements of the progressive movement was a crude vulgar bully on a scale that President Trup probably can't even dream of.

I think Harry Truman is one of the greatest Presidents in our history. For decades, he was the most misunderstood President in our history.

"He does not fit your definition of an ideal president." That's pure B.S. You are the one who brought up the idea of an "ideal President." There is no such thing. I wouldn't think of bringing it up.

I noticed you didn't disagree with me. That's progress.
