Everybody gets it. Including the OP, who spent a lot of time trying to pretend not to.

I am sorry but a fair proportion of the country is preparing to vote for a convicted felon and you think the word weird is morally a low point?

This year I will vote against Trump for the third time, but Kamala's "Lady Macbeth" moment may have been the low point.

Politics used to be about policy in this country. And yes, Trump is the instigator of this problem but I’m sick and tired of it. He’s not the first “convicted felon” to run for president. That honor belongs to a pacifist senator who objected to WW1

Why aren’t you 50 points ahead? Because running a freaking campaign seems to be impossible. It’s ridiculous that the Left can’t make inroads into the South and the Midwest and instead resorts to this.

Sorry no not weird normal weird is the idea that the mentally ill have a right to be mentally ill. Weird is the idea that the government should run everyone's life.

The left is now and always has been the party of the weird, the wacky and not infrequently the just plain silly and everyone with a lick of sense knows it.

I don't know how saying "weird" could possibly be a new low when it's common language.

Searching for things to be offended by?

The context for weird is illiberal, and I believe “creepy” is term we’ll hear a lot, e.g. their Incel-like view of women.

Yes, like his newest comment about Harris wouldn't be respected because he her looks. He added that he didn't need to explain what he meant, but that everyone knows. Yes, that's WEIRD.

The left always runs with defamatory BS. They have nothing positive to sell so there goal is pretty much always to sell the public the idea that as awful as they are the other side is worse. I don't think it's going to work this time. Too many dead bodies tied directly to Biden-Harris policies

LOL, no. When it comes to defamatory language, your boy takes the price, and it's not even close.

Besides, there is nothing defamatory in calling weird comments weird, so why play the victim?

Just think what type of foreign policy disasters are likely if she ever sits in the big seat.

I normally do not think of foreign policy as that big of a priority in political elections, but in this case I shudder to think what could likely happen.

As we've learned from the Biden Administration, sometimes not being on the ball and not doing anything can result in a devastating outcome (Afghanistan) or end up dragging the country into an expensive conflict (Ukraine).

I'd maybe point to the analogy of Lyndon Johnson. Americans elected him president in 1960 because he was the Democrat candidate and they assumed he would prevent a war. But he actually started the Vietnam war, which end up costing 60,000 American lives (which we now know was for nothing), accompanied by nearly a decade of high inflation which contributed to a recession in the 70s.

As a woman, I am particularly pleased that we have some strong women out there fighting for the rights of women with respect to their bodily autonomy. Had Trump not put the wheels in motion for Roe to be overturned, perhaps the party would not be so feminist forward. I guess I have Trump to thank and you have Trump to blame.

Foreign Policy and National Security have been my top priorities since 2013. I wouldn’t call myself a war hawk, instead I want to take the best course of action to protect the USA.

My beliefs are staunchly in line with Manifest Destiny and the Monroe Doctrine. I believe we could either have a “strong armed neutrality”(wherein our civilian economy is strong and thus we can maintain military parity without having to bleed into the economy or fight wars)

OR if we are brought into Europe and the ME once again, this time we should take a page from Napoleon Bonaparte: American Sister Republics.

Proxy States failed in large part because we left them to their own devices. Whereas Bonaparte had the sense to reform the conquered territories to his liking.(And generally for the better)

Now it can go wrong if the country is opposed to the hand picked leadership(see:Spain) but all we’d have to do is pick another person to fill those shoes.

At this point I’m prepared to take either direction to finally end the forever wars. Either colonization or impenetrable neutrality

Harris' Race and Gender Fundraisers Are Strange

‘White women’ and ‘white dudes’ pledge their allegiance to Kamala Harris. Talk about weird.'

'Imagine for a minute that supporters of former President Donald Trump advertised fundraising calls that would be only for “white women” and “white men.”'

'The uproar among the left – and the news media – would be immediate, and accusations of racism and sexism would surely follow. Yet, if Democrats do it, apparently it’s A-OK.'

It's not ok. There are no legitimate double standards in our free representative democracy.

First he isn't mine he is just what I have to work with at the moment because there is stuff in furrows by the sewer that I'd rather have for president than anyone in the upper echelons of the Democrat Party. And sorry the Trump reponds to personal attacks. Don't like it don't make them. Lefty been calling conservatives and Republicans racists, fascists, Nazi's and stupid for going 70 years. It was always a lie.
It amazes me how little the Democrat party has actually changed at the top oh some names have changed but the attitude remains. The Democrat party at the top remains vastly over populated by petulant angry cranks most of whom think they are far smarter than they actually are if for no other reason than the fact that no human being has ever been that smart including Einstein and Newton. I still think the biggest problem Trump had in DC was the fact that he didn't think they were nearly as smart as they did

What makes you think it was only for whites? It was the name of the group, but obviously anyone could partake in the money giving, - because collecting money the sole goal.

There is "Black Voices for Trump". So what?

Elon Musk banned the "white duded" group in 'X', which is pretty ironic.

Oh, his comments are Democrat's fault. Of course. That's why he insulted practically everyone who was in his admin. That's why he said Megyn Kelly "had blood coming from her whatever". That's why he mocked Fiorina's looks. LOL
It's fine if you are offended by someone calling your leaders comments "weird".

I've known a lot of strong women and know of more still. Murdering a child in the womb doesn't make you strong it proves you to be weak. Kamala isn't a strong person. She proves it every time she laughs, as does those screaming tirades and invective she reportefly hurls at her staff, and the powers that be in the Democratic party didn't choose her because she is strong but because she is malleable. She gets, possibly, to sit the throne meanwhile all the real decisions will be made by the same sets of eminence gris that made those same sorts of awful decisions for Biden. You don't get any stronger Than Golda Meir. Margaret Thatcher, or Jeanne Kirkpatrick. I had the good fortune to come from a long line of Strong Women Strong women create strong young men because they have no need to castrate them.

Screaming is not a sign of strength it is a sign of weakness. Truly strong people don't have to scream and berate others though they may not be willing to tolerate a lot of foolishness either.

I get it - you think Harris is a shrew. Which is your right. In fact, I was never a big fan of Harris but if the only attacks you have are about her laugh or her screaming, I'm not too concerned. You may not see her strength but millions do. And that is what will take her to the WH.

I think "creepy" is what they're aiming for, but using "weird" as cover for that. Creepy has two problems: 1) the right has already used it to describe Biden and the dems don't want to tee up such an easy association and 2) it's too limiting in that it doesn't fit some of the physical criticisms they'll tag it to (e.g. the Matt Gates face thing and the diaper-wearing MAGA supporter posted earlier in this thread).
