During Hunter's trial FBI agent Erika Jensen confirmed Hunter's laptop that was left in a repair shop was indeed authentic. Yet we had 51 intelligence officials sign a letter stating the laptop was Russian misinformation. That letter was signed in 2020. Joe Biden brought up the signed letter during his debate with Trump. The FBI had the laptop and knew it was authentic but was protecting Hunter. 51 bozos who were as crooked as Hunter. They should all lose their security clearance. The country would be better off without them.

In this case, the word “intelligence” was highly ironic. These guys would give the country away for the sake of partisan politics.

It used to be that the term "intelligence officials" somehow imparted the notion that this information is non biased and unassailable.

Those days are long gone. As evidenced by countless examples in recent years, they are now just another faction of the leftist unelected bureaucrats that run Washington DC behind the scenes. This is a bad development. We need an intelligence arm that is truly non political and whose word can be relied upon regardless of any political considerations.

Saying the laptop is "authentic" is far different than saying the data on the laptop is authentic.

It's worth noting this was secretly orchestrated by the Biden campaign. Antony Blinken orchestrated this disinformation campaign. He was later rewarded with the position of Secretary of State when Biden won the election for his loyal service.

There's another current thread entitled something about Biden not running a Banana Republic. But, this is exactly how Banana Republics operate.

If there is another Trump administration (unlikely but who knows...) that should be a day one thing; revoking their security clearances.

Holy cow! The data on the laptop has been confirmed as being accurate by the FBI and now the government is using a laptop provided by the FBI as evidence.

I have no dog in this hunt and don't care which way the verdict goes, but i have to call out BS when I see it.

We all know you can't provide any evidence for this wild conspiracy theory. The DoJ has said it is authentic and they are using its contents to prosecute Hunter. It meets the burden to be upheld as evidence in a criminal court. Stop spreading Russian disinformation.

Whatever he is he must be quite important for all those people to protect him with lies. Of the ones who now work for news outlets, isn’t it odd they’re all left wing news outlets?

Polls have told us if the public knew the truth about the laptop then Biden loses the election.

No, but he has a strong relationship with the "Big Guy" selling American political influence overseas while the Big Guy was smuggling classified documents out of SCIFs as a senator and later stealing classified documents as VP. All the while his crack addict son had full access to them.

If we had a decent media it would seek out each of the 51 signees and question them. The problem with our media is they are so lazy they have become the mouthpiece of the democrat party. They will never hold a liberal accountable.

K then should we also have investigated Trumps kids with the same gusto? I mean they were actually working IN the White House in an official capacity - should they not have the same scrutiny?

Just keep remember the 51 bozos and what they said. Can you imagine what Putin must have thought about our government and our intelligence officials after they said the laptop was Russian misinformation. God save us.

You tell me what the issue is, I’m not the one covering up for Hunter.

Choose whatever razor you want, those people lied and it influenced an election.

Have they been subjected to the same scrutiny or has that been blocked?
