That was reported one week ago but we still have not seen any media here in the Twin Cities report it. Why? Because it never took place, just like the alleged 1,000 man African gang attack in Germany that was made up by the fascists in Breitbart.

 

There is no question that there are teens who go around stealing cars for joyrides or who engage in shoplifting or other illegal activity. The problem is that when the teens are Somali, Hispanic, or Asian, the media (especially, the hostile reich wing fake news groups) immediately identify the perps by their race or ethnicity. However, when kids go around stealing cars or flashing knives or brass knuckles in the suburbs, it never gets the publicity nor are the perps identified as being white. We have had many cars stolen in the suburbs in places such as Shakopee and in Carver county which are places you never heard of. If you read media accounts of these events you would never know the identity of these trouble makers. Had they been Somali or some other minority, you would know about it immediately. So yes, the mainstream media has a part in perpetuating stereotypes. But in this case, it is the race baiting far right online instigators who are the real problem. That, and the eagerness with which right wingers are inclined to believe in such garbage.
