Who is enraged? I watched your video, didn't see anyone who even remotely looked angry. I also missed the part showing that they are "anti-Trump zealots." Which ones were those? Please point them out.

Also, there was nothing that indicated when this video was taken. Got a date and time?

Sorry, but this video is proof of nothing.

It’s the risk of the job they freely chose. And it’s how they earn their pay, taking care of the sick and dying. I’ll applaud them for their effort, cheer them for their courage and integrity, but I refuse to cry because they have to do the job they signed up for.

The video proves that Trump haters and religious bigots have become irrational and hateful.
    Here is more proof:

"Democrats, as exemplified by Bill Maher, host of the HBO show Real Time, said he is "hoping" for the economy to crash and the country to enter a recession so we can "get rid of Trump." Maher said, "Can I ask about the economy because this economy is going pretty well? I feel like the bottom has to fall out at some point. And by the way, I'm hoping for it. Because I think one way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy. So, please, bring on the recession. Sorry if that hurts people, but it's either root for a recession or you lose your democracy."

The third world is not nearly as decadent as California.

They are putting the already strained medical community at risk. That is inexcusable. Doctors and Nurses are putting
their lives on the line to protect YOU - and this is how they want to repay the medical community. All it takes
is one infected person to visit an elderly person in a retirement home and those rural hospitals will be overwhelmed.

    Two things:

    1. Your video showed a lot of New Yorkers who were probably commuting to or from their jobs. There were no interviews featuring anti-Trumpers, no one wearing anti-Trump shirts or hats or pins, no one chanting anti-Trump slogans ... just people going about their business with the woman taking the video doing the only talking, and she didn't say anything political. Plus, and this is very important, no date was mentioned, meaning that this video could have been taken long before the virus.

    2. While most liberals like Bill Maher's show, we don't take him seriously. Sarcasm is his stock in trade.

Perhaps, like a lot of right wingers, you're projecting with both of these items you've posted, taking things out of context to justify hatred and assuming that the rest of us feel just as much hate in the other direction. Hint: most of us don't.

There is a thread that is fact-based. Those of us participating are doing our best to keep political finger-pointing out of it. There are, of course, a few who refuse to do that, but a lot of us are putting them on ignore for the duration. There will be plenty of time for partisan BS when this is over. I'm so disappointed we can't come together as a united country to beat this thing.

If you are interested, mostly just facts, here: http://www.politicalforum.com/index...atens-to-undermine-coronavirus-orders.570857/

It's happening in small towns, as well. My sister works in a small town with a small assisted living facility. ONE person went to church two weeks ago and now they have four dead and sixteen more who are hospitalized.

People in denial that this thing is more than the flu are maddening. Putting our overworked medical professionals at risk is hateful behavior.

Right there with ya. I'd much rather be seen as a "chicken little" after the fact than be accused of not doing enough, at the cost of lives.

Frankly, the medical community should fall before general society. If we have a total catastrophe of deaths and new doctor openings, there will be others to take its place. On the contrary, the 20 year economic depression will cripple an entire nation, they themselves included.

What gave hospitals the right to be a sacred cow?

The China virus only seriously effects a fraction of the population, it's a matter of proportionality. It's already across the country and the only places struggling have large populations...

How many times do you think you've been told that it's about the SPEED of the spread that is using RESOURCES too quickly? I'll bet at least 10, probably many, many more times.

Can you point to any article or amendment in the constitution which gives the government the power to nullify constitutional rights, without amending the constitution?

That's predominantly an urban issue. Speed is only a problem because it produces volume. The further you get from urban center the less the maximum volume is.

All true. However, gatherings such as this stand to undermine the natural resistance that the socially isolated rural lifestyle offers. I agree with the Bundys that we ought not be tossing out the Constitution in this crisis, as well as most of their other political activism. But I don't think this gathering is going to be helpful.

You assume it is because of church, it could have been introduced in many ways. Nor is 20 people an overwhelming impact, no doubt an additional burden but manageable...

Do you always take death so lightly? I would hope you show a teeny tiny bit of compassion if it's a family member, but hey, that's just ONE person.... no biggie.
