A Bernie Sanders Independent Run as a 3rd Party?

The guy is collecting load$ of ca$h! What if he lost the nomination and then challenged Hillary and Trump in a 3 way race. Lots of people hate Hillary and Trump too. People don't hate Bernie, they have just been brainwashed to fear the word "socialism". On a stage in a debate, he could make those 2 look pretty petty, stupid and corrupt. Bernie would have a shot in a 3 way race where the "socialist" could win the thing with 40% of the vote.

if elizabeth warren suddenly endorses hillary clinton if she wins the nomination then this cant happen anymore. Sanders is not the only populist icon the dems have.

I doubt that a 3rd Party candidate could win the Presidency.

 

A 3rd party candidate will not only not win but cause votes to be taken away from their contemporary running mate(s). It would be funny if Trump decided to run 3rd party against a Bernie 3rd party run....

Then he's not a hero! A revolution has to risk bad things, even the death of the very people that support it! It's NOT for himself! It's for all of us! him winning is something that might turn this country around, and I'm willing to destroy my future and MY DAUGHTER'S FUTURE to take the risk that the revolution might happen.

Don't matter to me, if it's Hillary vs. Trump, I'm voting for TRUMP.

 

If he believes he is the best candidate for the country, he should run 3rd party. The country will be fine with Trump or Hillary, but it will be better with Bernie.

 

He is too smart to run a 3rd party. He wouldn't want to be responsible for handing the election to the GOP.

However, it is self-evident that a Sanders 3rd party candidacy would be a right wing lunatic's wet dream.

 

He won't. Him and Obama already had a little sit down. If hillary wins he will be named the ambassador to utopia where everything is free and money grows on trees and the embassy is the DNC headquarters

 

This is the bullshht thinking that has to stop, Either/Or? BOTH the GOp and the mainstream Dems are GARBAGE! The revolution Bernie is talking about, isn't a revolution against the Republicans! It's against the Democrats too! The country won't be significantly better off with Hillary over Trump, But it would be with Bernie over Trump or Hillary! No more lesser evil, No more "defensive" voting.
