    I embrace my desire to...
    I embrace my desire to...
    feel the rhythm,
to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow,
    to feel inspired,
    to fathom the power,
    to witness the beauty,
    to bathe in the fountain,
    to swing on the spiral,
    to swing on the spiral,
to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human.

This is the foretaste of heaven and all that is good loving. What you see here is akin to spiritual atheism, the acceptance that there probably is not a personal god however while upholding the pursuit of a higher level of awareness and understanding. There is no need for a personal god to find these things.

Realize how small and insignificant everything in your world. Everything. Your life could end with no impact on the worlds populace, the entire planet could be destroyed with little impact on the cosmos, our galaxy could disappear into oblivion without notice being raised in the incredible number of remaining galaxies.

However, through this insignificance realize how special and unique everything truly is. Realize how improbable everything that occurs truly is. Realize how truly fortunate we are to live were we live while harboring a respect....... or even a pity for those of us who are lesser off, lesser off in far away lands whose people and governments have destroyed the local humanity.

Do not allow others to tell you how to think, do not allow others to tie you to their noose salvation. You do not need an idea of god, whatever god you choose to follow of the thousands, to give your live purpose. Or meaning. Or value. You can do this yourself. I have heard so many times on this and other forums something along the lines of "without god there is no purpose", this is a saddening point of view. A person.... a person who is secure with themselves would not need an idea of a higher being loving them to give them a purpose, a meaning, a value. You can do this yourself.

Remove the shackles of dogma and embrace a secular point of view that also recognizes the beauty of everything in our universe and the methods to discover such truth and understanding. Reject the dogma that causes to your oppress or repress your fellow man for little or no good reason.

Feel the rhythm, feel emotions, feel inspired, fathom the power, recognize beauty, bathe in the fountain, swing on the spiral and become your own person separated from dogma.

Be happy, be healthy, make others happy, make others healthy.

    Do good for goodness sake.

    ....

Is purpose, value on life, do good for the sake of doing good without a divine reward, a difficult concept to accept without the notion of god?

I would assume more people would favor such a secular philosophy to free their hearts and minds.

Anything that would benefit another being without harming another.

Such as, its good to help my neighbor move out if she is the only one to do it.
