The phenomena you see being spread on this thread is simple to break down in terms of cause and effect:


A=lack of definitive information about the phenomena
B= lack of public trust in institutions
C= viral (multiplying, amplifying as it multiplies) spread of claims on social media
D=rumours spread by Trump

A + B + C + D = the sky is falling down

The above phenomena is also a classic explanation of how the internet today serves as a pathogen for group/epidemic hysteria/mass psychosis the mental condition where a large group of people pick up and repeat each others shared physical and/or emotional symptoms to amplify as it speads the level of anxiety, extreme excitement, panic.

All it takes is a few homo sapiens to trigger the anxiety and it spreads fast because its a primal weakness of homo sapiens. Because we are pack animals, to survive our primal instincts enable the pack to quickly spread the alarm to anything that may seem a threat.

In fact what you see manifested is the spread of fear.

Fear = a phenomena, circumstance, on-going event that can not be explained and so creates a vacuum of uncertainty then anxiety and extreme agitation and belief that what is not explainable by its lack of explanation is life threatening.

Note how the theories as to the drones plant suggestions of life threatening theories to justify the fear.

So you want my friggin answer to all this-its this-take a chill pill in the absence of any clear info until its found. Stop chirping and exercise your ability to be rational and stay calm, focused and objective.

Panicking is not only annoying but look what it does. It gets people like Trump elected and then when they continue to spread their conspiracies and mass psychosis through their leader-you can choose to add to it or ignore it.

I promise you if Trump can trigger this much stupidity before he's elected what do you do the next 4 years? Jump and scream every time he farts?

I haven't seen anyone panicking or showing "fear". It's a discussion about what is happening. If you can't handle it, don't participate.

Drone light shows or drone/fireworks combo shows are the latest rage. Maybe they are practicing. I saw a combo show awhile back and it was kind of neat. to have the drones creating 3-D images in the air while the fireworks were going and then create some smaller falling fireworks themselves.

Americans alarmed by ‘chemical fog’ spreading across the US: Phenomenon sparks bioweapon conspiracy theories after drone sightings

New year, new conspiracy theories.

Parts of the US have been blanketed by a “mysterious” fog, sparking concern from locals who claim it has a “chemical” smell and exposure can result in flu-like symptoms.

A Florida resident told the Daily Mail that they felt sick after being outside in the fog for just 10 minutes.

“Within about an hour, I kept sneezing over and over for about three hours, and my eyes were really puffy,” the unnamed Floridian claimed. “I got very warm and I felt like I had a fever, and my stomach was cramping.”

The Daily Mail reports that the occurrences have eerie echoes of “Operation Sea-Spray” — a secret biological warfare experiment conducted by the US Navy back in 1950.

At the time, serratia marcescens and bacillus globigii bacteria were sprayed over the San Francisco Bay area to determine how vulnerable a large American city may be to a bioweapon attack. At least one American was killed and 10 others were seriously sickened.
