I don't think it is too early to discuss a very likely scenario. In November of 2020, there is a very high likelihood Donald Trump will again be elected our next President. Even the most ardent Trump haters have to admit to this. Anyway..... When and if that happens, will the opposition be adult about it, accept the defeat and work for the betterment of America? I would really like to hear from them. However, there are indications that the 2016 victory was never accepted. I think we need to address this now and prepare for what is to come. We can either become united or it will turn VERY ugly.

Of course I have my own bias as to how this is going to turn out.....and how it should turn out, but I just want the opposition to be honest and tell us how they plan to behave "should Donald Trump be re elected as President of the United States." Any takers?

Sanders' Iowa guy said the country is going to burn. But imo he meant the big democrat cities will burn.

Guess that would be reminiscent of the Watts riots where they burned their own businesses. Just so they stay safe and keep it to "gun free zones"!

And Chicago 1968. But Richard J. Daley types are out of favor and out of power.

Actually there are many Democrat cities that need to burn and start over.

I think if President Trump barely wins reelection and the Democrats while losing ground in the House still retain control of it then Democratic outrage will be mitigated somewhat by the unspoken realization that part of the reasons they lost was the horrendous group of losers they had running for the nomination this time out.

If on the other hand Trump wins huge reelection victory with the GOP retaking the U.S. House I anticipate a strong current of "the Russians helped him do it" with lots of outrage among the Dems.

Their idea of fairness is lose lose for the opposition. It is very Sol Alinsky in it's approach. Gone are the days of Hubert Humphrey and Barry Goldwater when we all worked together.

It appears that is exactly what they will do, but I want to hear from some of the opposition that say they will do the honorable thing and concede graciously! Or is there any chance of that? Are we at the end of a Nation United?

Yes it has and I did not fail to notice. The Kavenaugh hearing and the attempted Coup that started before the 2016 inauguration.. It's been "Rules for Radicals" up until now. I just wondered if America was ready to return to it's senses. What about you?

Yeah, you're average American is not happy with a deplorable in the White House, especially since the average American didn't put him there.

Trump is a divisive figure. We should have elected Jeb Bush or one of the centrist Republicans if we wanted a more unified country. Remember, Trump was put in the White House by less than 30% of eligible voters - that's not a happy place to be.

If Trump wins the election, but not the popular vote - again - that will make the last three elections in a row where the Republican President did not win the popular vote. If that happens, I think there will be a huge push to end, or change the Electoral College rules. Can you imagine what will happen if Trump wins the popular vote, but not the Electors ... wholly crap.

There are whole lot of Republicans who aren't thrilled with Trump being in office as well.

So you want to subvert the Constitution? Change the rules after you lose? Centrist Republicans govern as usual. Not any different than Centrist Democrats. Trump is divisive because he doesn't play established games. He upsets too many applecarts. Applecarts like the one Quid Pro Joe and Hunter cooked up. That is a fine example. Sure does raise a lot of hackles doesn't it?
    Centrist Republicans.

The average Americans ARE "deplorables". (Hillary's definition) It's the elitisst led sheep that want to shield the crooked establishment from their ways. How do you think Pelosi got rich? How in the h#$$ did Hunter Biden get rich? I have an ex son in law that smoked crack....he is practically homeless!

That will never happen Daniel. The Heartland has more electoral votes than the populous states on the coast.
