Spoken like a true extremist.....but thanks for telling me women are capable of evil too, I didn’t know that (sarcasm alert) so do you think it is women who are the biggest adversary of gay rights? I guess all those hate groups that are springing up all over the country support gay rights LOL show me one woman’s group that focuses on Mail homosexuality as a bad thing

Yah, homosexual acceptance ended in 1827....(sarcasm alert)

First of all I don’t believe that lesbian porn is the most popular among female viewers but even if it is, women aren’t the ones screaming against homosexuality. It is men who have the homophobia ..but it isn’t homophobia, it’s femiphobia

Are you a lesbian that can speak definitively about lesbian issues? Are you a male that can speak definitively about male issues? Do you think that certain groups think in exactly the same way, all the time, every day?

BTW, what hate groups are 'springing up all over the country'? Can you name one or is this just more made up hyperbole?

There’s no sense in arguing with you when you believe that racism doesn’t exist. I don’t believe I am a savior but again that’s extremist thinking. By the way I lived in a minority area in Brooklyn New York. When white gentrifiers started moving in suddenly there was garbage pick up every day active police .street cleaners etc was that a coincidence? I never would have noticed it to be honest until my neighbor pointed it out how he had lived there for years and they would call for garbage pick up and sometimes it would go a week. I taught in the inner-city school in Brooklyn and the school had inferior equipment . Many years I had to buy books for my kids.
What I find very telling is that you assumed I don’t live next-door to black people because it is you who believes they are inferior and that I wouldn’t live near them. What a wonderful example of projection. I now live in a more upscale community in a very liberal city and yes it is culturally diverse and a great place to live. It is a city that was conceived in the 60s by people who anted diversity and culture..it’s like a big Greenwich village

I have no idea what you are talking about here.

What do you mean you "don't believe it"?These stats and numbers are not held secret from anyone and are available to find on the interwebs.

What are you talking about? And what the heck is "femiphobia"? You mean misogyny?

Genuine racism is hardly the norm anywhere in the West anymore and it is also heavily stigmatised and bemocked. It is neither institutional nor structural and anyone who claims so has not spent one second outside their academic circles and Crenshawist literature.

    Most people don't care.

You use the word "extremist" so much that it is starting to lose its meaning in here.

Gentrification is not entirely bad and the opposite is actually much wprse.

    Nah, you don't. :D

Show me those stats .So you really believe the porn with two women is geared for women and not for men because after all men are homophobic. LOL.
I created the term femiphobia when one of my students pointed about that being masculine is to be as unlike a female. I remember asking that class why they should take away a baby doll from a boy and they said he’ll be gay. Then I said when should you take away a toy truck from a girl. And they didn’t know why they should have to and I said when she be a lesbian? They got it and that’s when the boy said that we can be like girls because girls are viewed as less. So it isn’t about being homosexual it’s about being like a girl

Nothing like a white guy telling us that there is no racism in the west anymore. You’re right it is not intuitionalized because it isn’t legal....But how naïve to think that because something becomes illegal that it just goes away. You read some of what the people here right and you see that racism is alive and well
I am sure the word extremist loses its meaning here but it wouldn’t matter if I used it once or 100 times it wouldn’t change the extremism which I
No I never said gentrification was bad. I bought a brownstone in Brooklyn for $32,000 and the guy I sold it to just sold it for $2 million. The people who were the original owners and did not have very much money I know quite wealthy.
So you don’t believe that I lived in an interracial neighborhood? Not everyone is afraid like you are. I live in an affluent interracial place in Maryland and it’s amazing. I don’t think you would be very comfortable here

I have NEVER said racism doesn't exist. It's absolutely rife outside of the Western, white world. It even exists in small and toothless patches in the West, but that's default stuff .. and will never be eradicated.

Living in the same city (even on the same street) as darkies is not at all what I meant by 'live with'. You can even have brown friends, and still be utterly separate and incapable of genuine co-existence. Trust me, I know. Most POC who live amongst white folk know exactly what I'm talkng about.

Sorry, your racism is despicableNo wonder you don’t get along with black people I guess calling them darkies isn’t exactly kind or sensitive,
Nothing like a white guy speaking for black people.oor should I say darkies
I have black friends and we are very close but of course there is an ethos that people have. It’s like I am more comfortable with liberals. I am more comfortable with feminist men and women. And many black people are more comfortable with black people many Jewish people are comfortable with Jewish people. Many educated people are drawn to other educated people etc I am lucky to live where I do because there is hardly any racism

Then there is some self loathing. Going on. I have a hard time believing he isn’t white because the denial of racism is ridiculous

Renee, I'm not white. My husband is black, and my three children are black. If you don't like having your mask pulled down, try discussing this self-congratulatory BS with white Progs. They'll buy it in a heartbeat.

    We can see you.

You cannot resist telling brown people how they should feel. And you wonder why we fight back.

And you’re a woman? I can’t argue with you because there is nothing to me that is more pathetic than a black woman who puts down women and blacks .For a black woman not to see sex is the more racism is self loathing to me. I will have to put you on ignore or so goodbye

Both of my parents are immigrants, but I do not really see why that would even matter to anyone else but a racist.

No one has ever claimed that racism is "gone". It does exist, however, only on the individual level and these individuals are in the minority and they are heavily marginalised and stigmatised too. "Racism" is thus not even a real issue and does not require neither workshop nor legislation. x is a racist? Just ignore him.

What exactly is "extremism" to you anyways? Not agreeing with you?

I grew up almost exclusively around immigrants and all of my friends and nearly all of my classmates were second generation immigrants, just like me.

I think I would do just fine in yiur neighbourhood and not because I am "one of them" but because I do not treat "oppressed minorities" as cattle who need some ideologue of a workshoper-giver with a fancy diploma on their wall to do the thinking for them - I do not care how you look or what your name is as long as you have a soul, a heart and a brain.

Ah, I was just waiting for you to call her an "Uncle Tom" and there you finally did it. :D

    That is incredibly racist.

I decided to put it in a spoiler because I feel it is a bit crude and inappropriate to display in the open. :p

No, mainstream pornography is - obviously - targeted to men since the consumer/audiance is, at least, 80% male.

What else did you make up? :D

Yeah, that is how opposites usually work.

What decade was this in and how old were the kids?

And as far as your example of taking a dolly from boy vs taking a truck from a girl being a manifestation of "femiphobia"... I do not think I fully get it and would appreciate if you could clarify and elaborate on it a little more. And why use "femiphobia" when "misogyny" and "sexism" already exist?

Then you really need to educate him and raise him up to the wisdom that you've collected from your privilege.

So you think racism is gone for groups but only for individuals. This is why I don’t for a second believe you’re African-American because you would know better than that. Black people as a group or stereotyped and you see it here all the time
It is not unusual for us to have relatives who are immigrants. My grandparents were immigrants and were treated as badly as Trump is treating the immigrants trying to come here.
You’ve got to get your act together because you are providing yourself I’m not reading “oppressed minority’s” as cattle so obviously you think that some do and there is the racism. By the way my workshops on prejudice explore all kinds of prejudice, like sexism classism, looks, disabilities, ageism , geographics religion. Nationality etc. ,
It’s interesting that you see me as being a person thinking for others because I have a fancy diploma. Nothing could be worse than being educated and nothing could be worse than making people aware of prejudices. I don’t think I have ever left a workshop without someone saying “wow I never thought of that“ but then again Trump loves the uneducated for reason

I am neither African nor American and have never claimed to be either, so I have no idea what made you assume I was.

    "All the time", yeah sure.

You are being highly Amerocentric, thinking the world revolves around the US.That is rather ignorant.

Yeah, I am familiar with Crenshawist theory and intersectional framework - It is highly disgusting as it is based on vieweing and judging people solely for what is on the outside, completely ignoring their insides, their talents, their interest and their capacity to change and act.

I would be more than happy if you could make me go "oh, I never thought of that!" or present a perspective I have not already heard 825 times.
