Isn't that a matter of whether there was intent to commit the crime?

One could say Guyger didn't plan to enter the victim's apartment and kill him.

Wyrd of Gawd they wouldn't let you on the jury with your anti-police bigotry and hypocrisy. Willreadmore no one is blaming the victim, this was just an accident. People who don't support the police are criminals who don't think the law applies to them. Well it does, they are no different to anyone else.

Damn, she won't get parole for 5 years?, Well, she's till only 36, she still has a second chance and we wish her well.

I'm sure that I could lie well enough to get on the jury. After all, everyone lies in court, including the judge. You can bet that she would have gotten more than ten years if I had been on the jury.

Nope, the rest would have ignored you and the judge would probably have released you due to your ranting.

I keep forgetting that a lot of people are cop lovers and love it when thug cops murder innocent people in their homes. It seems logical that everyone would get angry when such incidents happen but it is getting very obvious that far too many Americans approve of such criminal behavior inflicted on fellow citizens, especially black ones. It is like living in 1805 Georgia on a slave plantation. I keep checking the calendar and although it says that it is 2019 it seems like it is 200 years ago. Maybe things will show a little bit of improvement in another 700 years?

What's not to love? No thug cops and they don't murder innocent people in their homes, they prevent that. It's logical that people have sympathy and empathy with the police who have to make these awful split second decisions. There were no police in 1805, it is 2019 where cop hating attitudes like yours are an anathema.
