China was a COMMUNIST country from 1949 until the early 1990s. But the switch from communism to capitalism was tightly controlled by the government. Do you really think China could go from a communist to a capitalist country without maintaining important social programs popular with the public? I don't.

I don't dispute communism's failure in China. But socialism isn't communism, & it has several very successful working governments in W Europe. China was NEVER a socialist country.

 

the IT jobs will and are going to India... anyone in the field could tell you that

the customer service and good paying lower jobs are going to India and the Philippines and places like that

those in the know also know that the goal is to have AI replace many of those jobs as well as many others... the future is coming unless someone like Trump stop it and I do not see that happening, Bush and Obama did not and Trump is not either

also, if you do not "buy America", your creating jobs overseas as well

without jobs in the future, socialism will be the only option
