Matt Baker has this interesting channel on YouTube called Useful Charts. He does lots of videos about world history, including many time, one videos. You can buy his timeline charts from his website. I have several on the wall in my office. I love a good timeline. He also has some great videos on the Bible and the Quran. He outlines the source materials for the Bible and the differences and similarities between the different versions. He has some really good videos/charts about the family trees of rulers of several nations. The videos that I think people in this forum might be interested in discussing are a series called the Psychology of Atheism. There are three videos in the series so far. The first, “Types of Atheists,” focuses on terminology. The second, “Is there an Atheist personality type?” is a study of some data he gathered on Atheists to attempt to see if there are any patterns in personality types based on the Myers-Briggs tests. The third was to discuss the idea that atheists are bad people, it’s called “Are atheists Immoral, arrogant and angry?”
I'm interested, though Myers-Briggs is pseudo-scientific mumbo jumbo. Fun, sure, but not accurate. Then again, they probably cover that in the video and I'm just getting ahead of myself.
Yeah I am a bit skeptical of Myers-Briggs too but he does address that in the video. He was able to get 23,000 results from atheists who took his surveys, 17000 are explicit atheists.
I'll definitely check it out, then. And don't get me wrong, I do find some value in Myers-Briggs, just as an intuition pump instead of a true measure of personality.
