Sanders appears to be more than willing to debate any time anywhere and anyone from either party. I don't think that we can say the same for most other contenders. Go Bernie!!!!

The federal government is a lost cause. All real democrats now seek to limit its influence to whatever degree possible: democracy is only practicable on a local level which citizens can see and influence themselves.

Vermont is a good state. He should focus his efforts there. There is no conceivable chance of him being President, and if he was he'd be hated by Congress and have no effect on legislation.

The entire point of him throwing his hat into the ring is to force the debate of the relevant issues, which he is clearly determined to do.

Any real intellectual does, it's the reason we're all a part of this board. Politics in its origins was a philosophical uptaking. Look at the past names of the 19th century and look at their backgrounds. While military service was touted as a virtue, so was higher education. Socrates and Plato being some of the titans of philosophy. I'm a Fascist-Technocrat precisely because I've looked at all philosophies, democratic, conservative, libertarianism.

Politics is fun, it awakens the spirit in me. It's my career field, I truly believe this.

If he will debate on the Mark Levin Show, Then I will believe it. In-fact he declined an invitation to debate mark
on his show. So now we see the Left Wing Lies again.

Until then, it's a bunch of crapola.

In all serious debates prove nothing to me. They're just talk, and actions speak louder than words.

And i want to see a real man of decency, honesty, integrity, and who honors and respects the American system and the Constitution, and won't do anything to further erode those things and will actually seek to reduce the level of government we have now, and undo a lot of Obama's crap.

But that is not gonna happen. The republican party is indeed in a trap. For instance with Obamacare, instead of taking the proper stance that it is not the government's business to provide healthcare and fighting Obama every step of the way any lawful way they can, they had to come up with healthcare system of their own.

Mark Levin is running for President?????? Why would anyone debate a lunatic who owns the microphone. Levin will cut him off when Sanders destroys that lunatic.

Hillary is a virulently pro-establishment war hawk. She's not going to go pay attention to Sanders.

Those who want laissez-faire policy might be justified in running for Federal positions: no matter how much they manage to control a state, they'll always be subject to Federal interference. But Sanders wants government involvement. If he manages to control Vermont to a sufficient degree, he's perfectly able to create his socialist utopia.

Wanting to force other states to do the same is totalitarian and anti-federalist in the true sense of the term.

I do not think debates accomplish much outside of giving air time to candidates that wouldn't get it without the debates. Especially in the primaries. These debates are much more about telling the people what they want to hear in search of votes. This is why the Democratic party candidates tacks left in their debates and the Republican party candidates tacks right in theirs. Then sometimes the tacking sticks for the general when both candidates move towards the middle. Now in the general the candidates left standing basically are saying what they said in the primary debates they didn't mean as they now go searching for the 40-45% of the electorate votes that identify themselves as independents.

But what the primary did was shore up their base. Their base vote is now in their corner and the base usually doesn't care much for the tacking to the center, but given the choice of their parties candidate and the other parties candidate, they vote for theirs.

In the end all the debate rhetoric of both the primaries and general give way when the final winner does what he wants to do and what he can do regardless of all the fancy sounding sound bites and slogans he said during the many debates.

I get exactly where he is coming from. Sanders is an honorable guy who really does work hard to represent the average American. He is getting on in years and was most likely getting so frustrated seeing this country go down the path to becoming an Oligarchy that he is compelled out of good conscious and moral duty to force the conversation before it's too late as no one else is rising to the occasion. Does anyone remember his filibuster? It was great and it did not include the stupidity of reading from a children's book to pass the time.

Sanders is being funded by average people. No corporation owns Senator Sanders.

Sad part is, the two corporate parties will probably pay the networks to not show Sanders debating with anyone! They are SCARED that if his ideas get out there and are heard by typical stupid Americans they might be in trouble.

I have faith that Bernie will get is message out to the masses by hook or crook...so to speak. This man is determined. That being said, I can remember when Dennis Kucinich was shut out of an important debate due to a fabricated BS technicality and he was fuming. Does not say much for our democratic process, does it? A move like that will just give Sanders more fuel for his fire and further proof of how screwed up and rigged the system is.

Sanders was just interviewed and said that he wants to debate Republicans NOW. He said that if he has the chance to debate them now and people hear both agendas, only 15% of voting Americans, once made aware of who and what these candidates are really beholden to, will support the GOP agenda and policies.

He ha formally made the request for these debates to start.

There's not a single Dem or RINO who has the balls to let The Great One ask them questions that the morons in the MSM would never in a million years would ever ask.

They would much rather go on any of the cable networks, including Fox News before talking to someone who knows as much about the Constitution and history as Mark Levin.
Mark Levin has always been respectful to his guests when conducting interviews, you must be confusing guests with idiot callers.

He has invited the current moron Senate majority leader McConnell on his program many times, yet that turtle faced idiot, Harry Reid lookalike refuses. I wonder why?
