"We have to go back" is #1 on my list - Lost is my all time favorite show

Another was Michael killing Ana Lucia and then Libby. I actually yelled out - Holy S**T

    and of course 6th Sense

Lost is one of my favorites too. I even liked the ending. Those who don't like it usually didn't understand it.

Of course it has been years but were you aware of one of the sneakiest Easter Eggs ever to be hidden in a show or movie that was in Lost?

It involves "Kate we have to go back"

    6th Sense hands down.

I'm surprised though by all the Lost love. That ending was one of the worst of any major TV series.

Was the best show of all time in my opinion

I thought that the ending on the island was very good; at the church - was ok, but I was disappointed as to what the flash sideways were all about.

    Sopranos ending was the worse
Best ending was Newhart, and I wasn't even a regular watcher of the show

Newhart had a great ending. I gave up on Sopranos after season four but if I had been all in for that show I probably would have been pissed.

Lost's ending was terrible because the showrunners promised since season one that they were not dead and it wasn't purgatory. Well...they were in dead and in purgatory.

Well what happened on the island was pre death/purgatory - after they died they all went to the flash sideways world. Showrunners were referring to the fact that they did npt die in the plane crash and the island was not purgatory

Your comment on the Sopranos makes me think of another good topic. Shows that you thought were great at one point that you eventually turned on and stopped watching. I thought Heroes season 1 was exceptional, but by the end of season 3, I bailed on the show.

Everything that happened on the Island was "real", they were not dead and it was not purgatory. The only "purgatory" was the "flash sideways" reality in the final season.

At first I had thought that the flash sideways were just to show what their lives would have been if Jacob had not messed with their lives

I agree with Heroes. It had a great first season and then went downhill.

The problem with Heroes is that they short changed the very premise that they had built up during Season 1, "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World"
When they decided that Sylar didn't actually have to kill someone to acquire their powers then it was no longer necessary to "Save the Cheerleader"
