I find it interesting that Biden was far more active about condemning the violence against Trump, even when the motive was still unknown, than Trump was about condemning the violence of his own supporters acting on his behalf.

Yes, that may probably have been the case in this story, but as anyone who knows anything about the world of organized crime and drugs can tell you, illegal guns are as easy to get as guns. Those with the funding and connections will always be able to get guns.

Anyway, we all know that even if the U.S. had strict European-style gun control, that would not lessen the need for security at these events at all, when we're talking about rallies for U.S. Presidential candidates.
