Never said it was trans people who came up with the word. I simply said is how transgendered people view the world around them, or how Russians view the world around them, or how mainland Chinese view the world around them. That is how the evolution of language is determined. If you go back 100, your common vanuclar language would be as foreign to the people of that time as it is to you today. I can understand and even respect most opinions, but I draw the line at altering the physical appearance of children with drugs and surgery. I also strongly oppose conversion therapy. I see many people with good intentions pushing their personal beliefs on children. Both have strong feelings and believe they are helping. Both are wrong a percentage of the time and the damage they cause lasts a lifetime.

Let me ask you an honest question. Let’s assume I’m a pasty white guy but I honestly feel deep inside that I’m black. So I change my name from Keith to Chukwuemeka I style my hair in cornrows and I use makeup to darken my complexion. I come into work and I wear African garb and I start talking and interacting in a manner consistent with how I think black people act. I want everyone at work now to refer to me as Chukwuemeka and if they don’t, I want them disciplined.

Do you see how that might be incredibly offensive to the black people at work?
