Because in a ceasefire you have a prisoner exchange and the 2500 to remain there until all conditions of the agreement were met including the official agreement with the Afghan government and if the Taliban violated in anyway more troops would be added in quick order and our support for the Afghan military of course continuing as before. There were STRICT conditions. Biden surrendered unconditionally.

Is he going to do so here? Sanctions should have been applied long ago with a demand to pull back forces.

"A day late and a dollar short" seems to be the MO with regards to the Ukrainian Crisis.

The Kremlin published decrees ordering Russia’s defense ministry to deploy troops to two Moscow-backed separatist territories in Ukraine.

The decrees were published shortly after President Vladimir Putin, addressing his nation, announced that he had decided to recognize Russia-backed separatists in the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics.

BS. You keep making crap up

Trump took the troops out BEFORE Biden took office. Trump then approved the release of 5000 Taliban prisoners, including many in the leadership. The Afghani army was overwhelmed and beaten BEFORE Joe took office. The Taliban had all of that military equipment Trump gave to the Afghani army BEFORE Joe took office. Trum then announced 5 days before Joe took office that they had withdrawn to the 2500.

Time is liner, and these facts are well documented in the public arena.

Go somewhere else to make things up

By killing lots and lots of Russian soldiers and "rebels" in their territory. Personally, I doubt they're up to the task.

Yes, it's Biden's fault. He doesn't understand much, but he does seem to understand one thing you don't:

Putin has said it over and over and over and over for more than a decade. Ukraine cannot be part of NATO. All America had to do is say fine, Ukraine can't be part of NATO. Now that you understand what is causing the crisis, please don't ask again.

In sum, all the dimwit and his cabinet of neocon/neolib jackasses had to do was affirm that Ukraine could not be part of NATO. THAT was a bridge too far for them.

Quit making crap up. Trump took SOME troops out yet still supported the afghan army and guess what it was as peaceful as it gets over there. Biden BROKE THE AGREEMENT, he changed the date and took ALL THE TROOPS OUT! Then dumb dumb had to send more troops in because Americans he abandoned were in grave danger. The Taliban also broke the AGREEMENT and Biden carried out his plan instead and left the country and American's fall to the Taliban. You don't get to change history just because you're a democrat.

This Summit is a joke....if Putin doesn't invade....lol. They're going in claiming Ukraine is Russian, Putin does history about as good as Grape.

Like I said such excuses prefer the company of men.

Biden was just outplayed by Putin as he was in Afghanistan.

Your shabby demented emperor has no clothes and kids in Japan can figure it out.

Biden is impotent, tardy, and clueless.

Hope he got extra pudding today.

It seems he already has. That's not a certainty, but we'll see in the next 12-24 hours. I know there is no way Ukraine has the military strength to win, but I hope they put a serious hurt on the Soviet's (sic) forces and country, especially in conjunction with these mysterious sanctions that are about to happen, too. It's 2021, we can't allow countries to expand their territory by force anymore.

I would not mind at all if we sent over a fleet of B2s to take out their forces before they even get their tanks turned on. Not gonna happen, but I wouldn't mind.

    I don't understand your position.

When Trump was around, Putin was a friend, someone to be reckoned with.

And you wholeheartedly endorsed Trump's policy toward Russia.

Now you're blaming Biden for not being tough enough on him....

I never suggested "all" Kremlin statements anything.

Putin agreed to nothing and Biden and the Whitehouse are lying to the people!

I didn't say otherwise stop claiming I have.

I didn't say otherwise and in fact explained to you why, it's a return of prisoners after a cessation of hostilities. How do you end the war without a prisoner exchange?

The Taliban already knew Biden was coming into office and would issue an unconditional surrender rather than hold them to the agreement, and they were absolutely correct. Stop making things up. Biden could have halted the timeline at anytime after the Taliban broke it.

    It's totally false.

The Shayrat base was under Syrian control, all victims were Syrian and Trump notified the Russians in advance.

The few planes that were destroyed all belonged to the Syrian army.

The intelligence services of the U.S. lost so much credibility with the Steele Dossier. That was Reuters news reporting Putin agreed to nothing and by his actions today, they were correct. Biden and the White telling lies to the American people --- again!

No I'm a student of history and can often times see 2 or 3 steps ahead.

So when rather tardy forumites say tardy things like "Putin is neutralized when the movement of his troops is exposed." I laugh out loud.

Here's a newsflash...Putins forces are in Russia, at the Ukraine border!

It's like a slow banker saying I will install cameras so there are no robberies! Lol it just means you get to look at a video of when you are robbed.

Or a woman who gets a rape whistle which will prevent her from being raped.

YOUR crocodile tears won't help you.

I don't want war and.have loudly said so on this forum.

And here's another thing to consider...Russia is bringing in its new toys. Things like hyperbaric MRLS systems.

Some of us have.studied Russia for years, as well as Ukraine.

Lets.just say the videos won't be on world news tonight.
